@@montpelier3 I have been uploading the videos to youtube for some time now. I do it for the exact reasons you stated above, it is easier to find and watch. I am asking to change the public bodies policy to record meetings and to upload them to an official youtube page. :)
the joke is certain councilmembers reaching to create vague, unnamable 'issues' with the committee. Member's safety should be paramount. Free speech stops where hate speech begins. Once again; no objection to the recording, the objection is to a lack of care surrounding the personal safety of members who have received death threats from white supremacists in and outside of our community. That isn't a 'lack of transparency' and free speech/discourse that happen outside of meetings is just how political discussion happens.
