Comparitavley Graphics may be a down grade, but I don't personally agree they are "bad." For me they are about on par with the graphics used for Smash Brothers, which many still consider good looking. Can we please stop complaining on the Crowd in Sidney Sprint? It's not cutting corner, they have 3D models for Toad, Yoshi and Shy Guy, but simply loading hundreds of model in a short space like this would made the game lag or have loading issue, I agree it was not the best looking thing, but it's not a cutting corner issue like I hear from many people
They still didn't fix the escalators. The whole point is to use 20x20 vision to recognize the direction. The arows with green and red glow makes the gimmick pointless and a broken obstacle challenge.
Mario circuit 3 shouldn't even be there. This track been remade so many times . They could have did Number 4 and stop porting Tour Tracks. Tour Tracks shouldn't be there . Tour Tracks should be Free DLC .
Why are you so pressed over Tour?! It's a little weird. (Even more weird how you gushed over Kalimari Desert's inclusion of the Tour remix as the 3rd lap)
Wow, you're such a negative nancy here 1:34. There are plenty of reasons to play Mario Kart Tour. For me it's the expanding content, retro courses, drivers, etc. The game has also become more F2P friendly and it's just a casual pick up and play type of game. You have fun things to grind and get rewards for doing so. Deluxe has none of that because it lacks any sort of new content unlockables outside of gold items and random parts. Deluxe is mechanically fun to play in terms of the skill of the game, but that doesn't take away Tour's fun for some of us. I really wish Nintendo fans would stop crying about every bit of thing Tour does.

To be fair with the 2D sprite audiences, they were also present in the base game tracks as well. (Mario Kart Stadium, Mount Wario, MK8 Rainbow Road etc.) However, there were never so close to the players in the previous tracks, so it's much more noticeable & jarring to look at in Sydney Sprint than it is in the base game tracks. They really could've done a better job hiding that from the players, same goes for the giant sized spectators & giant background objects, which was also an issue in the base game tracks, but is much more noticeable in the booster course pass because of how close they are to the racers.
The giant thing is more of a perspective thing. Many games will do this because it would actually look worse proportionalized believe it or not. The sprites are inexcusable though, using sprites as an illusion only really works at a distance.

Someone has to, not like complacent fanboys ever have
the Mushroom Gorge skip is exclusive to 200cc
Idk I liked the 2D characters idk 😐
Reminds me of Paper Mario...
Bad comparison
@@AkameGaKillfan777 so 2D art in paper Mario is okay but in a DLC for Mario Kart it's bad 🤣 Nintendo at the end of the day it's a collective of artists working together putting together aesthetic imagery it's not about having realistic graphics or what graphics should be .. it's about the feels
@@degeneratemii9032 Because Paper Mario has 2D of nearly EVERYTHING, most primarily with the character designs. Mario Kart has always strived for 3D as a whole at least since Double Dash. It's one thing to have these cheap low fps cutouts on far backgrounds, but you should not be able to drive RIGHT NEXT TO THEM.
@@AkameGaKillfan777 🤔 idk looks good to me just like how they change Waluigi in Waluigi pinball from a 3D model in Wii to a more mechanical 2-D cutout of Waluigi which looks more convincing as a pinball paper/plastic cutout of Waluigi
@@degeneratemii9032 So why not make the whole game look like this at all then? Since graphics vs gameplay is so blatantly mutually exclusive, why bother improving graphics at all from what they were first like over 20 years ago?
