Out of all the Movies Uwe Boll made based off of videogames, this is oddly enough the only time it felt like he actually sat down and played the game before writing the script for a change. Everything from the random acts of violence in the background, the running jokes such as the Terrorist Convenience Store Front and the Postal Babes, the disguises, the cat-silencer, the satire and even the outfits of some background characters are reminiscent of NPC's from Postal 2.
And honestly, it's his best film! And I'm still unsure if that is a good or bad thing...
That's a Good Thing, because this is actually a Fun movie.

I love this movie
I love how there’s genuine comments here questioning the random and mean spirited violence in this movie when that’s literally the exact spirit of postal 2. it’s not red dead where ur character’s “supposed” to be a hero it’s fundamentally created to let you be an asshole.
It's just violence for the sake of it and that's that it's funny

because it's in the cover itself, the game is only as violent as you are and peaceful runs are entirely possible

I always had a theory that the reason why Postal Dude doesn’t really act like himself until near the end of the movie is because, this is actually a prequel to the games.
Ehhh, prequel to Postal 2. Postal 1 is in an alternate Universe. I mean, there's no explanation on how the Dude could have escaped the asylum during the end of P1 in P2
Actually, from the looks of things, Postal Brain Damaged is seemingly going to be confirming that the two Dudes are the same person, as it has Dude have severe schizophrenic delusions and break out of a asylum. Then again, it is all just speculation

My theorem is that he is still locked up and this time he is in control of his mind, so he is trying to disassociate from reality and place himself in a more normal world. Further explanations are the ties to POSTAL with the ambience, loading screens, asylum set piece, distortion of reality, POSTAL Brain Damaged, and POSTAL 4 pacifist ending.

Eduardo Díaz no see the game had a charm to it because it was new. In a movie you need to root for the character to enjoy it, but in a game, playing as an asshole is okay, because you are the one doing it. You don’t root for this guy. He kills a baby. Unintentionally but still for a joke.

The one videogame adaptation that gets damn near every detail right, with the exception of that sweet trenchcoat The Dude wears, and the sunglasses, other than that, a lot of it is matching, right down to the fact that he uses a cat as a suppresor (though the cats die in the game afterwards)

In the game, you can use a cat as a silencer. The whole movie was basically a nod to how massively stupid the game was. Games worth a play though. Max difficulty, it’s fun trying to stay alive longer then five minutes.

The funny/weird thing is that all the civillians in this movie died within 1 shot of pistol and machine gun while in the game it took around 2-5 shots of pistol and 5-10 shots of machine gun to kill a civillian. This proves that all the characters in the movie version is way weaker than the game version.

It's still more charming than the rampage movies. That's not saying much though. The only part I liked is when Bush nukes the world and destroys the chance of this ever getting a sequel.
