I've read that before in one of the old rockhounding books- but never ever seen it. Show me a piece and I'll believe it- because after 10 years of rockhounding in Oregon and attending Madras and Prineville Powwows and never seeing it, I think it is a myth.

Do your research, the Burns area can produce obsidian with green sheen not just the usual black
