That sound at the start is giving me nostalgia.
If only you can make the sirenhead walks slower and not sprint, and those noises he makes have the ability to attract other critters to the spot and blur the player's vision (to reflect the effect the sound has on human mind). then he will be truly amazing, not just a typical fast running brusier but a slow, towering, imposing figure that looms the woods, broadcasting random radio frequencies and pre-war PSAs as if it is unaware of the current world state, still trying to fulfill a duty that do not exist anymore.

Oh my god, you did such a good job with making a simple mod review into a nightmare, like with the "ALLTHEYDOISCREAM", and I'm not even gonna talk about the ending of the npc portion, because its so good, I don't need to sing its praise, also, is it just me or does the pipboy 2000 mod really work with the setting?

I've been rocking this mod for my F04 playthrough for almost 2 years now and it never gets old. Sometimes it doesn't even feel like I'm playing Fallout anymore, but a cool first person silent hill spin-off game instead. Simply amazing

They should overhaul Siren Head, honestly. They should have him about as tall as a 4-5 story building, change the model, give it better animations (eg, running), make him move like stop-motion animation, and have him crawl at times (which makes Siren Head way faster, about 260mph)

I'm unsure, cause with the settings I have it turns very dark at night or being sucked into the other world. You will have to try it for yourself.

@@CarmineARK3 years late but if youre on pc you could put it intoncreation club and delete every monster type that isnt siren head. Might have to do a bit more but itnshould be simple

Since Silent Hills can give form to ones most inner thought, i have come to the conclusion that Siren Head is the Sole Suvivor's id.
The thought that he/she feels like they deserved to die to the nuclear bombs during the Great War. Which is why it blares pre-war alert sounds over its entercoms, a breif old world song, and other random shit.

Very very intuitive and a good thought in bringing the lore of the two together. Any thoughts on the other monsters though?
I think the mumblers represent Shaun in his psyche and the Lying Ones represent the restriction of the Vault and his inability to reach Shaun and Nora myself.
@Delicath Vrenitah personally, i feel like the Mumblers are the Sole suvivore's fear that Shaun didnt suvive the trip to The Insatute, which 8s why it takes the form of a child's rotten corpes.
The Lying Figures i have yet to come up witu something, but im sure i will.
The Twin Screamers are a smaller, less dangerious virsion of Siren Head, and instead of blaring Prewar properganda, it blares the screams of the people who didnt make it to shealter in time.
The bubblehead nurses are his/her impression of the failiure of protecting their son, and what kind of monster is takeing care of him.
Other monsters(like fog roaches, the mongrels, and Pyramid Head) are just genaric Silent Hill monsters. ya know, the ones that are always in a Silent Hill game/movie.
Thats what i got so far, ill try to update it if i figure something with the Lying figures

Doing a playthrough on Survival with Arbitration, BLD, and that gas mask mod installed. Everytime that siren blares off my just sinks.
This would pair well with some of the ghoul mods out there that give variety to ghouls and also have them wander in packs.

Does anyone know if the Wendigo is a one time spawn? I encountered one early in my playtrough but I was a low level so I sneaked past it. I went back later to try to find it, but I havent encountered a single one since ( aside from a jumpscare in Whispering Hills proper)

This mod on survival is intense: a lot of mobs 1 hit kill you in the beginning.
Those mercenary npc barks, lol. Someone forgot to put a trigger cooldown in there, and the writing is very uh exciteable. The rest of the mod is so well done though, and the review video too!
I should not have laughed as much as I did at Billy being there.
The nighttime part is kind of rough -- normal Fallout can be fairly dark, Silent Hill modded is delightfully so. But nighttime means viewers get mostly a black screen, so the video goes from interesting to... well a black screen and screaming. Which, to be fair, is Fallout. And Silent Hill.
I love the fog and the selectable amounts of it. The death animations and effects from Sirenhead are really creepy, too.
Found footage style mod review is very slick and keeps the theme of the mod very well! I really liked the reset after the Screamers. Last few moments were a little heavy-handed, but overall was extremely well done, better than some horror games I've seen! You have an excellent sense of pacing and showing the audience what they want to see (ie, creatures in combat) without spoiling things for them or making things look too easy. Really good setup, explanation, and investigation -- everything flows well, writes a convincing narrative not just for the mod but for your mod review, I hope you are making games or mods of your own because you definitely have a lot of talent. I know this is coming a year after the video, but I'm really impressed by this!
(Far Cry Primal's ability to pet your companion animals was a direct result of this game -- we were all playing Fallout 4 in the office at the time, and the biggest frustration we all had was that you couldn't pet Dogmeat or tell him he was a good boy! So that played directly into the decisions we were making at that stage in development, petting Sabers and honey badgers is 100% a tribute to not being able to pet Dogmeat.)

How do I get the title screen background replacer? I’m on Xbox and it’s still the normal background when I start the game.
As far as I'm aware title screen replaces arnt allowed on console
Music replacers for the main menu are allowed, according to a few modders it isn't possible to add videos to the main menu
I can never seem to find Sirenhead, I chase after his sirens but never actually get to him also great editing it was very cool. You could have easily just left the video unedited like other yters but you actually put in work
I saw one just when I downloaded it and went in, near red rocket and the trees in front of it
Follow the sirens and when loud enough, go in vats, it's an easy way to target him and do some starting damage, plus, if you're brave enough after, you can find him directly after you leave vault 111

I have a question for the developer of this mod:
Is the dark world affected by weather? I have true storms installed, and an always raining mod to make it so true storm's weather never dissipates. Each time I try to force the darkworld, it seems to be canceled out by the rainy weather of true storms, fog never seems to roll in. I even increased the chance of the otherworld happening at night to 75 percent, and haven't gotten a darkworld encounter in even a week IRL.
