Your build is so clean) I love the gradient of silver at different angles and light sources, the color combination of the case and keycaps is pretty organic and worth a look 💛💙

I love the sound test too, its just yk ytbers keep doing the same specs (in the perspective of switches) so it kinda sounds the same rn but hey its still great nonetheless!!! Spacebar sounds warpy, yet unique. Great one!!

Hi there great video! How would you compare the vertex v1 to let's say hyperglides mx black? Curious as the mx blacks seems the be the inspiration for the v1 switches!
Glad you asked! I fortunately have both and have put them both in the same keyboard before. They sound similar, both in the "classic" cherry sound profile. But the V1 is a lot smoother though, so I prefer the one from Vertex.
Your shots are amazing! Were you able to test with a bit of foam like just using the plate foam or using just the case foam and if it significantly changes the sound signature?
I actually did add a thin sheet of foam to prevent short circuiting, but I don't think it affected the sound profile that much. Personally, I think the sound without foam is good enough and has no echo.
Problem is, it's not a $140 keyboard. For anyone in the US it's going to cost around 200 to 225. For a layout that is...niche. You could get a Mode Envoy for close to that price (and IMO that's even overpriced). You can get a Zoom75 for that price with tri-mode because Keebsforall shipping is so much cheaper. Yea, if I could buy it for $150 then sure. But 200+ I can't justify. I know it would end up sitting in a closet because I'd always want to use a 65 instead. Same reason I don't use my TKL boards ever.
Yes, shipping from ClickClack is unreasonably expensive in my opinion. Good thing there is a local vendor in Ukraine and I will get mine with shipping which will be about 12 dollars

So the cheapest config will actually cost any US customer $179. Now people will argue shipping is shipping and other vendors make you pay it. However other vendors, at least in the US, don't charge that much. KeebsForAll consistently

This is where a lot of people I think need learn to distinguish between "budget keyboard" and "budget custom keyboard". If you are just looking for any functional mechanical keyboard then you're right, >$100 isn't budget. But in the custom keyboard world, under $100 is basically unheard of, especially with this degree of build quality. You simply cannot compare a Royal Kludge keyboard to something like this. They're not in the same league. Only similarity is that you can use both to type things (or to hit things with, although this aluminum keyboard with multiple weights in it would do much better than the RK at that too!). In the custom space this is indeed, very budget. I'd say it's actually a pretty amazing price
