Let me say that I love your reviews & demos! But is it possible that the foundation looked and felt dewy due to what you applied on your skin before? Before application your skin looked very shiny...could this be a factor? All other reviews I saw the foundation looked pretty matte. Either way thanks for your input x
***** Well what happened was... I filmed the first 2 mins of the application (powder as well).... then my camera cut off so I had to wash it all off and reapply my moisturer then do this agin. But I did wait a good 5-10 minutes before applying it. I know it is advised to put on moisturizer 30 minutes before makeup but I'm not sure that is realistic for everyone because if I was rushing somewhere I wouldn't be able to wait 30 minutes to do my makeup.
I tried both dewy and matte. They both oxidized on me and stayed sticky forever. The Fit Me setting powder is very good. I love it. Rimmel Stay Matte is also a great powder.
I love love love that you list your shade comparisons. I think that is super helpful! I also really enjoy your reviews. I think i'm around the same shade as you. Have you ever been colour matched at Sephora with their new colour iq? If so, how accurate do you think it is?

I've been using this foundation for about three months now and i absolutely LOVE it!! i have REALLY oily skin and with the powder and fountain together, my skin stays matte throughout most of the day. it does sometimes get oily but that's usually when I'm outside all day in summer haha. the only thing i don't like from the Fit Me line is the blush because it comes off sooo easily, and i haven't tried the concealer because i don't need it with this fountain.
When i tried it i thought i looked really really matte, so i sprayed some fix plus over the top and at the end of the day i was super suprised how good my skin still looked. I went to walgreens and picked up an extra bottle.
You can get more acne when u have oily skin when u touch up with powder if u don't use a bottling paper first because all of your oil that's on the brush or puff gets put back into the makeup and reused so basically when u touch up with a powder without using a blotting paper bacteria gets into your makeup

I finally tried mine out today and im also 220 :) To me it gave me a real matte finish and my face is an oil machine!! It also helped that i wore my 12hr tarte primer. Original fit me lasted like 2hrs before it started to separate. This matte has become my fave!
I have the same issue with oily areas. Like on my nose, I usually pat with a tissue before applying makeup. Most of the time works! They also make little special sheets for oily skin :) just a suggestion
Your skin is amazing. I know the camera kind of cheats the real look of skin, but your skin looks so smooth and healthy. I don't know if you did already, but can you make a video on your skin care routine? I am having really bad skin issues (acne, redness, and uneven skin tone). I love this video!
I recently bought theses products a month ago and I love them. I have really oily skin and it works wonders for me. My shade is 350-360 I have to mix the two because my shade is really 355 but they don't have that (I'm black btw) if that helps because our skin type is different. To get rid of excess skin I use a matte make up setting spray which really helps. Just use a matte makeup setting spray to get rid of the extra shine. Anyway Thanks For The Review :)
I love this foundation and I have really bad skin (large pores visible to the eye as far as 3 ft away, cystic acne, acne scarring etc). To help those that are darker skinned, I also wear Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation for Oily/Combo Skin in shade 360 Golden Caramel and in this one, Fit me Matte & Poreless for Normal to Oily I am a 322 Warm Honey. The two colors are almost IDENTICAL. There is a difference in the feel. Fit me is smoother to the touch than Colorstay. Both have the same coverage for me. Hope this helps! :)
I got this just a couple of days ago, and I'm really liking it! The powder is pretty awesome! I'm liking it better than my Milani Final Touch powder which has been my go-to.

I used neutrogena hydro boost water gel-cream moisturizer, then primed with smashbox photo finish (color correcting adjust), applied the foundation with elf powder brush. Next, I set with fit me powder. Finally, contoured with bronzer and blush. It stays matte for 8- 9 hours for me with very smooth finish. Best foundation if you have dry winter patches on skin!
After using it for a few days, I've noticed this foundation has made me breakout horribly! So sad, I thought I had finally found my holy grail foundation! :(

I actually went out and bought this after seeing the review. I used their powder in 110-115 and 115 seems to be more pale which I like 110 is a more yellow tone. I looked at their original foundation which was the lightest 110 and I was to orange and when I looked at this one it was WAY lighter which was a amazing and this was only $6 at Walmart. So if you are a pale person like myself I would definitely recommend this, it has good coverage and its really buildable as well.

I've been using this foundation for a while since they've discontinued the original fit me (which oddly enough I love) but this one never really seemed matte for me but now I know I'm not the only one with this issue and I need the matching powder!!
I just bought this foundation. I too also have oily skin. this foundation does look nice once applied. I like the coverage and the way it feels on my skin. down side about it though, I would have to say it doesn't last more than a few hours then you have to powder up. after about 5 hrs it's just melting off in the t-zone area. I've tired using a primer and setting spray. same results.
3 more foundations to try on your reviews for oily skin. If those fail I'll just stick to my 2 favorite. covergirl 3 &1 and Revlon color stay combo/ oily skin.
I have been using this recently and it is my new HG foundation! I am normally a grease ball. Like I'll put on a foundation and have to powder in an hour. I'm that greasy. With this I went about 6-7 hours without any oil at all and I could have skipped powder at that point if I wanted to because the oil peeking through was very minimal (like a slight glow in my t zone, almost looked like I highlighted). But I powdered anyway just as a precaution lol. The finish is amazing! I have large pores on my nose and they were not as noticeable with this foundation. I used loreal miracle blur (oil free) underneath it the other day and it really made me exceptionally poreless. I think I found my new combo for flawless skin.

I really like this Foundation! I used the L'Oréal infalible pro matte foundation and I don't like it at all its just got into my fine lines and make my chin look really dry!! and make my check area creases!!

I must be colorblind because i can never tell but would you say that the foundation has a yellow undertone or pink? Cuz my face has a lot of redness but the rest of my skin has like a yellowish tone to it so ive been having a hard time finding a yellow tone foundation cuz a lot of foundations are pinkish :[
You should watch Wayne Goss' videos on choosing foundation colors (I think he has several). There's one where he talks about matching your foundation to your chest because he's naturally yellow too but has a lot of pink on his face presumably because that's where he gets the most sun. Maybe you can try color correcting primers or powders or neutral foundations if you have pink in your neck and upper chest area. If you're only pink on certain parts of your face and you don't want to wear a full face of makeup, then you can apply the color correcting primer or powder alone on just those areas just to tone down the color and top the rest of your face off with a sheer powder or something so your whole face looks good all over. :)
deecupid10 I have some of the foundations in her shade comparison list and some of them are not yellow enough (at least compared to Mac foundations in the NC shades or Esteé Lauder in Rattan), IMO.

I have no clue if I may have applied this wrong, or put too much on. But when I used this foundation one morning, it made my face look really cakey and made me look really orange, and it was the same shade as my skintone. I didn't use powder because I'm not oily, but I don't know why it got cakey and Orange on me😭

I bought a Shell Beige (4W2 and has way too much pink undertones not to mention it's a bit dark on my skin) and was thinking of getting Rattan because it has yellow undertones.

Thanks for the review, the foundation isnt to bad and I wonder if the powder would be good to use on top of another foundation cause it seems to be a good powder :-)
I use the Fit Me power over all of my foundations and never had any issues, so go right ahead!
I have no clue if I may have applied this wrong, or put too much on. But when I used this foundation one morning, it made my face look really cakey and made me look really orange, and it was the same shade as my skintone. I didn't use powder because I'm not oily, but I don't know why it got cakey and Orange on me😭
