- Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC Patch Notes! A lot of people have been complaining about Perfume Bottles and the Bloodfiend's Arm being too strong. Elden Ring Patch 1.12.3 Nerfs Perfumber Builds and Bloodfiend's Arm Builds! The Elden Ring DLC Patch notes say its mostly bugfixes nerfing these Elden Ring builds so thats interesting. There's a few other updates, but the Rolling Sparks nerf and Bloodfiend nerfs are the only things people are talking about. Some Elden Ring DLC Boss fights have been made a bit easier like Commander Gaius.

I think these nerfs happen because people are taking these busted one shot builds or bug builds into the pvp part of the game and then the devs see these so they fix them
The game isn't heavily balanced around PvP. Its mostly the bug of the sparks not ending when hitting terrain
With faith and dex both at 55, with shard of Alexander, age of exultation, perfume bottle talisman, and lightning scorpion charm, and the full rakshasa set plus flame grant me strength and golden vow I was getting around 26k when every explosion hit, I beat a lot of messmers for ppl
I just keep using my lightning death knight build and it's doing pretty ok 👍
