  • In this episode conditions are really too good. And what I mean is that I prefer light wind as opposed to no wind. As you'll see it worked out okay! For details about my Carolina Rig, check out previous video. Thanks for watching.
    Hope you'll follow me on Instagram. I post many photos from trips that I don't film.

    I fish the Pamlico in avon, my personal best is 29.5. Last year we caught so many 20+ specs it was silly. All artificial, mostly z man. Glad to see your a member of the RO20 club. Keep it up

    Great night of fishing and a 27" trout on camera that is awesome! Hey what kind of popping cork were you using? Had a great rattle to it and it was pretty compact. Any certain color z-man under it that you see makes the biggest difference? Thanks!

      Four Horseman Popping Cork, well built and yes, loud. I usually start with natural colors. D.O.A Cal Shad 3" is a goto

    Thank you. Great video again. I have one question please : how did you rig this SHAD ?!!! ... I thought you used natural baits. Thank you :)

    • @haltysalty7537
      @haltysalty7537  2 роки тому +1

      The smaller trout were caught by trailing the jig and swim tail "shad" under the popping cork. When you pop the cork it replicates fish feeding which attracts fish. Thanks for watching!

      Park at the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, bridge side parking lot. Walk out from there. You'll see other kayakers and wade fisherman. Trout and drum are there now. Stop at TWs Kitty Hawk and get some DrumBumYumYum baits. Good luck.

    • @haltysalty7537
      @haltysalty7537  3 роки тому

      On this night it was all live mullet, 4-5". I'll often use mud minnows or striper minnows and sometimes cut crab. In a pinch I'll rig gulp. Thanks for watching!
