Welcome to "Where the Locals Sk8" a podcast where we interview local skateboarders from around the world.
On this episode of Where the Locals Sk8, We meet local skateboarder Cole Perera Aka Heftty Cole representing Bell Gardens, CA. He was first introduced to skateboarding from his older brother and getting his first skateboard at Toys R Us. Tony Hawk X Games starter kit. To then, a Zero board from a skate shop and learn to skate in the driveway. We learned about his favorite videos and pro skateboarders. He would enter Castle contests and worked at skate shops like Mainline Skate Shop and got some shop flow plus a box from Blind. He also told us when he was getting on Powell and why he left. He is now focused on the brands that sponsor him and puts out amazing shorts on UA-cam Instagram and TicTok. We also talked about the dream spot to skate and the crazy question.
