On this episode of Where the Locals Sk8, We meet local skateboarder Max Flores representing West Covina, CA. He has an interesting story about how he got his first skateboard. Then, when he got a little older, he went to Legends Board shop and got his first skateboard. He had a neighbor that he got to skate with and would show him skate videos like Mouse. His local skate shop now is Stix SGV. We learned about his brand Smile Talk. He also has fingerboard out. We hear a great story about how he met Nigel Alexander. He tells us he's working on a skate part. We learned about his music career and the new music he has coming out soon. Hobbies off the skateboard like art and keeping a journal to remember to remember.
