I feel like it's not fair to label people as "idol rappers" just because they're in a group. Jooheon has been rapping for so long and has been underground and can even freestyle, he's just a rapper who became an idol.

2021 and still Jooheon for me, he is one of the best rappers among kpop groups.There are like two groups of rappers for me in kpop, the ones who started to learn and make rap being an idol already, and those who are real underground rappers who have that flow and talent in their blood and started living making rap in early age. And Jooheon is clearly one skillfull, talented, hardworking and amazing rapper. Every time he starts his solo i get goosebumps. You can really even notice the big difference between his skills from a lot of other contestants here!

Actually no YG didn't fail him cuz of the SMTM4 part. Tablo said if they used it for ad-libbing he would fail them, Jooheon used it part of the lyrics. If you pause at 1:02 - 1:03 you would see that there is only 1 red line up to that point. That red line was left middle which is where BNM was sitting. YG was sitting right middle and their line wasn't red at that point meaning they pressed it later on during his rap

95% of idol rappers still suck ass. Jooheon and YG are the few exceptions. Think out of the 300 idol rappers how many of them don't suck. Name more than 10 not in YG and I'll start watching aegyo or some other stupid kpop shit.

I could name 100 shit idol rappers are just have to copy and paste a list of all idol groups I didn't mention.

Actually no YG didn't fail him cuz of the SMTM4 part. Tablo said if they used it for ad-libbing he would fail them, Jooheon used it part of the lyrics. If you pause at 1:02 - 1:03 you would see that there is only 1 red line up to that point. That red line was left middle which is where BNM was sitting. YG was sitting right middle and their line wasn't red at that point meaning they pressed it later on during his rap
