I dont know much about South Korean underground rapping environment and standards, but I do know that JooHeon is one heck of a badass talented artist, who burn for music, his work and work very hard to constantly improve and challenge himself. I think jooheon wasn't really that unique back then, if you compare him to a lot of other good rappers in that season, but now he found his very own style. I think if he would have joined in a later season he would have killed it. I dont know much about South Korean underground rapping environment and standards, but I do know that JooHeon is one heck of a badass talented artist, who burn for music, his work and work very hard to constantly improve and challenge himself. JooHeon has grown a lot, as a person and as an artist, since he was on SMTM, where he was still fairly new in the industry, so there's a great chance it would look different if he participated now, however chances are he won't, cause well, he's JooHeon 😉😅

I think jooheon wasn't really that unique back then, if you compare him to a lot of other good rappers in that season, but now he found his very own style. I think if he would have joined in a later season he would have killed it. Also kinda unlucky that a lot of idols joined that season, I can kinda understand that they can't let them all pass, because they all get shit for stealing underground rappers the show

I used to hate how jooheon didn't do far just because his rap was "too clean". At this point, after so many year, I see he was there only because of San E inviting him. They were marking that season as "lots of idols". Him, Mino, Vernon... None of them were meant to fairly win. And Mino only last to the finals because Winner was already big back then
