Thank you for a very informative video! I got a message from my printer about this box and had no earthly idea what it was referring to, and the help files suck! I appreciate you!
So glad I found your video, Mr. DG! I did just happen to run some nozzle checks and cleaning -- glad it doesn't mean my beloved WF-7610 is a goner. :) Thanks for sharing your amazing expertise.
Good Video - helped me find my maintenance box (which my printer couldn't for some reason). I will search your videos regarding chipless printers (i don't know what that means but any time I can remove a chip, I'm all for it).
Thanks again for all you're helpful videos. I made my 7720 chipless. My question is does the chipless firmware resets the maintenance box too? If so, is there a way to poor out the ink and put it back as if it's brand new?
I just bought an Epson Inkwell I don't print very often so I'm worried about the ink drying inside the wells does that happen and if it does how do you clean the wells?
Thank you for creating video! I don't know what you mean by "running chipless firmware" though. Knowing that firmware "updates" are nothing more than the manufacturer snooping to see if one is using third party ink and they remotely "kill" the printer if so, I have "firmware updates" turned off (for obvious reasons... I grew sick of having to buy replacement printers because of snoopy assed manufacturers remotely killing my printers because I don't take out a third mortgage to purchase their ink). Is that what you mean by "chipless firmware"? BTW, my collection box has said that it's full before and I've spent a bunch of money replacing them and when I pull them out they look brand new to me. I've never seen a bunch of ink like I see in your video in the collection boxes. I've never seen any ink at all in them and I've changed them three times in my existing WF-4830 printer. I can't help but wonder if, in many cases, this is the manufacturer generating false information in order to get people to purchase collection boxes as they are quite pricey. Obviously, yours were quite full of gunk and ink but mine always perfectly pristine looking when I have been prompted to change them. Thank you very much for any feedback that you can provide! You do a great job with your videos, BTW. They are very informative and easy to follow. 🌞
I have a WorkForce 7620 that I have had over ten years and use it every day. It was time to change the ink cartridges, so I bought more. I have not installed them yet because I can't get to my control panel. When I turned on the printer I got an error code 09xA. It said to turn the printer off and back on. I did many times. I can get no response from the printer except that it's on. or it's off. I love this thing. Would be more expensive to repair than replace? Could it be the maintenance box that caused the error? Is it a fatal error? I had never known to change that box! Today I took it out. It does not look full but if replacing it can fix my wonderful 7620, I'm on it! Help please! Advice?
I have a wf-3640. It's not printing. When you say it won't print, do you mean it won't print at all (blank sheets) or that it won't even go through the printing motion? Also, my tank is full per my phone app. But i never received a message saying it needs to be changed. Should I still replace it? What is a chip? I just orderd a box with a chip. Thank you!❤
Hello I changed my maintenance box on my wf7710 epson printer chipless but it won’t read the new one. Can you please let me know what I have to do to fix it
you can buy a replacement maintenance box but you may need a chip reseter as well like he showed to reset the ink reading level on your 7210. I have one myself so i know.
I guess my printers never came that far that I needed to replace that. I have an Epson XP3100 now. Already starting to act up after 3 years and maybe 5.000 copies. They are so cheap, beter replace the printer ;)
LIfeSaver on switching maintenance box out. Watch video but not my model. I was removing screws based on other vids. Anyway just removing paper duplex and accessing old box n switching !! 15 mins ! Luvs ya !

Great advice! I have the 3540 but could you not just empty the box?
Super helpful!!! Thank you!
Appreciate the help!
Perfect!! Thank you. Now that I found the Maintenance box, how do I fix the No In on Paper. The cartridge's are filled.
Do you know where I can get a low cost chip resetter for the epson 4730 T802 ink cartridge and does it work for the maintenance box also? Thank you
Do I have to do the chipless firmware fix before switching to the external ink tank system on the wf7710?
I just bought an Epson Inkwell I don't print very often so I'm worried about the ink drying inside the wells does that happen and if it does how do you clean the wells?

Good morning, do you know if the ET2800 Epson printer has the pad or the removable box
I'm not sure for that model.
Can I clean a 7210, or do you have to replace?

I can’t find my box on the 7820
