Hmmm, I am going to check out that nylon saddle vide too. Does that wear good. In other words if it wears would you be able to buy parts. I am wondering how wear is with nylon, if any problems with that. Looks like really quality upgrades and I think Tone Pros is a repuatable as in very great upgrade from what I have heard from the music store I go to and the other videos I have seen. I'm still running two of these setups on a couple of my Les Pauls. No issues, and no noticeable wear. It's very rare if I break a string at the saddle, or anywhere (knock on wood). I found your video because I'm considering getting one of these is it heavier than the original because the original seems real light and cheap maybe I would think a heavy one would give more sustain thanks for the video
It has a good weight to it. I have my tailpiece installed right now so I can't give you an exact weight. It is a really nice tailpiece though. The locking feature alone is worth it in my opinion. With the locking set screws, I'm sure it would give you a better vibration transfer to the body, probably more sustain too. For sustain, check your nut and bridge height , and make sure you have your truss rod setup correctly. If all else fails, you can try a higher gain setting, or a compressor/sustainer pedal. Good Luck
