- For this session im fishing on paddock lake with my friends and fellow bloggers cookinandcarpin. They've booked the whole lake for 9 days but im guesting with them along with another friend (john) for 3 days. With catfish as my main target species tune in to see how many i catch

you don't necessarily need to use a running lead for catfish, in Europe some guys literally use a brick tied onto their line to keep the bait down (obviously the brick is broken off on the strike because it is tied down with weaker line)
and those guys don't have many issues.
obviously I doubt this would fly at a fishery, especially when targeting smaller cats.

Cheers. No but that's my preferred method to do it. You can't compare UK cat fishing to European cat fishing. It's a different ball game.
@@MrCarpking71 that's very very true, it's mainly to keep big baits on the bottom of rivers aswell, it doesn't transfer over well tbh

i didnt mate no as i was mainly using pellets. the ones i was feeding for carp rod was bio cream and the topper on cat rigs was cream marine all from west country baits

You're just making things up to justify your silly opinions. Bit in fairness, I don't hold them against my shirt, either.
