This is amazing to find this. My Excel doesn't have notes, they are comments, is this the same thing?
Never knew about this. Well, you learn something new every day. Thank you.
Glad I could help!
I am thrilled to fiind this lesson. I work with large sets of data (trademark records) I can link each trademark image to its trademark registration numer. Question: Can these images be linked to an on-line data base? Does this process increase the file size? What happens when you email/send the spreadsheet to a client--do they lose the images and just get the red x in a square? this is brilliant and I am grateful for your time.
The size depends upon the size and resolution of your images. The images stay with the file so if you send it to someone else they will also see the images in the notes. I don't believe that you can tie the images directly to a database within a note even if you tried to program it. You could load a database into a separate worksheet and then access them when you are inserting the picture into the note. Hope this helps.
A very useful solution to the cell insert option. I like...... thanks for sharing
You are welcome 😊
Thank you. Easy to understand and follow. This tip I will surely use in the future.
Glad it was helpful!
Simple and Genius - you solved my problem just like that... Thank you!!!
You are welcome
Great description! TY very much 😊
You are so welcome!
Now I wish I knew how to make a macro do most of this except pick the picture. And save it outside any specific notebook so I can run it in any notebook. But I struggle to do that 😅
Amazing! 🤩
Thank you
Thank you! I did it successfully. More power to you and God bless you.
Glad it helped!

Glad you enjoyed it!
of all the videos i've watched, yours is better. Hope this gets more than views.
Thank you so much for your support and kind words.
This is great! Thank you :) Do you how you can rotate images when you insert them like this ? For some reason when I insert them they are always rotated the wrong way!
I will try to resolve your issue. When you insert an image it always appears as the original is. You can of course change the size to whatever you want. What kind of image are you trying to insert? When you select the picture use one from the Bing Image Search and then let me know if that appeared correctly.
How can I store zip code barcodes in a mailing list... And use them in mailings.
Nice one video, Madam are you tel me this function available on google excel sheet. If yes kindly creat a video or tell me on it, best regards from Pakistan
Thanks for the comment. I am sorry, but this can't be done on google sheets.
how can i add images for difrent names in bottom rows in single click? i means in one click can we select multiple images for difrent names in row..pls tell is there any method or macro, thanks
I am not aware of anyway of doing that.
Ok I just tried every thing you said and I am not getting the same options you get when I right click with the four-arrow cursor. As a matter of fact just about everything is grayed out. I have a Mac I am thinking that is the reason. Noticed someone else had the same problem and they had a Mac as well. You didn't reply to their comment.
I'm sorry. I do not have Excel on a Mac to test it.
How do I insert a big image to a viewable size while using the Note option
You can place any size image in a note. You can use the size handles on the bottom right corner of the note to resize the image to whatever you want.
But... How did you put the picture into the note?
You need to watch more of the video. The video explains all of that. It doesn't start with putting the picture in the note.
My excel not sowing many options format comment after section
Right click on the border of the note rather than the body of the note and you'll see the other options. This one tripped me up too.
@@ThomasAllenKNZ nothing happening
@@ChandanKumar-pr9us at 3:29 her cursor is like a '+', four arrows going out, instead of the text edit cursor. It changes to that when you mouse over the note's border. That's where you right click to get all 8 tabs in Format Comment instead of only the 1 "Font" tab.
@@ThomasAllenKNZ thanks to help
@@ChandanKumar-pr9us mine doesn't show those options either on the border - I use a Mac I wonder if that could be why
Very informative video. Will the size of the file too big to be attached in a email.
Most likely not. It depends on the size of your workbook and the size and resolution of your images.
