In a sudden wave of nostalgia, I searched for this. All these skips, it's sick considering how many hours I put in to find everything though I never got what needs to be done for all the Gold Cards from the "Spellmaker" boss. Now, getting reminded on the in-stage mechanics, I also want a a modern, open world Bomberman with such. That be great.
If only this had existed in the 90's. I actually called the Nintendo Power hotline for info trying to get the rest of the pieces for Bomberman's dragon costume in multiplayer.
@@realyungyogi You need a certain you need to kill a certain number of enemies (30 I think) to get the gold card. And in the first part of the Black Fortress, he used to miniboss to get those kills as its faster than trying to fight all those flying enemies in the first part of the level. See 58:54 for what I'm talking about
Childhood memories, one of my favorites N64 games. Years waiting for it. *Congrats* for this *improvement of 2 min with 18 secs* over the previous record :) . Subscribed, a big thumbs up and greetings from *Chile [South America]* . ... *Roberto Olguín*
15:50 I remember vividly renting this game from block buster and then making it to this exact point and from some reason having no idea what to do and I had to stop playing to return the game haha
So, does anybody know how to unlock that elevator on the right at 1:02:40? If that even is possible? Because if it is truly unlockable, what is its purpose there? That's a question I've been trying to get an answer to for YEARS!
This game was great. A truly terribly designed game, with horrible gameplay and level design. The contrast between Bomberman and well designed gameplay like Banjo Kazooie and Mario 64, on the same hardware, is stunning. Hudsonsoft was a truly inept team making a terrible game that is a cult favorite. The bomb bouncing mechanics are a beautiful work of incompetent madness.
It really makes me wonder if tech like what we see at 3:10 was how the game designers intended it to be played. I would have never figured out how to get that gold card as a kid lol, but its also pretty cool.
