Bomberman 64 100% speedrun -

- Опубліковано 8 лип 2020
- This is a speedrun of Bomberman 64 100% completion in 1 hour, 24 minutes and 9 seconds. This is an improvement of 2 minutes and 18 seconds over the previous record.
100% is defined as collecting all 120 gold cards from all 24 levels, and collecting all costume pieces (only used in multiplayer), and beating the final boss.
This run was overall better than the previous record, but there was one standout new strategy used in Green Garden 3 which allows us to stop the timer, and collect all of the gold cards and costume pieces in one pass, instead of having to enter the level again to get the gold card for the target time like we do in most other levels.
Possible improvements can be found in most of White Glacier, Green Garden 4, Blue Resort 4 and Red Mountain 4 (below average boss fights). I will be going for a 1:23:xx time to improve on this run.
Highlights:
Green Garden 3 - 23:16
Blue Resort 3 - 36:36
Harvester - 1:00:47
Spellmaker - 1:18:23 - Ігри
Glacier....... 0:30 7:17 8:14 13:39
Garden.... 15:02 22:26 23:13 28:39
Resort..... 30:43 35:33 36:31 40:28

Palace..... 1:12:54 1:18:02 1:19:25 1:23:01
1:24:23 GG
Highlight:
Garden 3 97s faster, but 4 40s slower
Fortress 3 29s faster
If only this had existed in the 90's. I actually called the Nintendo Power hotline for info trying to get the rest of the pieces for Bomberman's dragon costume in multiplayer.
In a sudden wave of nostalgia, I searched for this. All these skips, it's sick considering how many hours I put in to find everything though I never got what needs to be done for all the Gold Cards from the "Spellmaker" boss. Now, getting reminded on the in-stage mechanics, I also want a a modern, open world Bomberman with such. That be great.
open world bomberman
25:37 Wow, just, Wow. That is some time stone trickery I haven't seen before. Awesome
Using the miniboss to farm enemy kills is amazing. I've never seen that before
What’s does that mean?
@@realyungyogi You need a certain you need to kill a certain number of enemies (30 I think) to get the gold card. And in the first part of the Black Fortress, he used to miniboss to get those kills as its faster than trying to fight all those flying enemies in the first part of the level. See 58:54 for what I'm talking about
I love this game played it a lot as a kid and it cracks me up to see the bosses get demolished so easily 😂👏🏽
Childhood memories, one of my favorites N64 games. Years waiting for it. *Congrats* for this *improvement of 2 min with 18 secs* over the previous record :) .
Subscribed, a big thumbs up and greetings from *Chile [South America]* .

15:50 I remember vividly renting this game from block buster and then making it to this exact point and from some reason having no idea what to do and I had to stop playing to return the game haha

Super Mario 64 Star Road

The graphics aren’t great, but it looks like fun
graphics are not important but the gameplay is
game came out in the 90s
@@zlousi and in the earliest level of actual 3d
i thought you kept the remote and fire powerups between levels
So, does anybody know how to unlock that elevator on the right at 1:02:40? If that even is possible? Because if it is truly unlockable, what is its purpose there? That's a question I've been trying to get an answer to for YEARS!
What company allowed Bomberman to be an assist trophy in Super Smash Bros Ultimate with Hudson Soft gone?
I have a bomber man pvp game on xbox360
25:47 - ded
26:05 - lol jk
Are you going to try to break this record, mate?
This game was great. A truly terribly designed game, with horrible gameplay and level design. The contrast between Bomberman and well designed gameplay like Banjo Kazooie and Mario 64, on the same hardware, is stunning. Hudsonsoft was a truly inept team making a terrible game that is a cult favorite. The bomb bouncing mechanics are a beautiful work of incompetent madness.
It really makes me wonder if tech like what we see at 3:10 was how the game designers intended it to be played. I would have never figured out how to get that gold card as a kid lol, but its also pretty cool.
