I’ve been trying to describe what this feels like to people. I always say “I need to have a giant pick me up like an action figure and pull my hip out of its socket.” Now I can just show them this instead.

@@mastertrey4683 It does... I only have regular exercise bands. I use two of them, fastened into a loop with a clip, attached to a pole... I ramp up the tension by going to the end range of the band stretch... Cured my hip instantly after over a year of constant pain.

What kind of change does this make to you physically? I am not doubting it works, but was just curious what change it invokes. I don't know the science, but it's obvious that there must be physical change to muscles when stretching or doing mobilization work relating to soft tissues. Are there other soft tissues involved in the joint? Is the change happening in those soft tissues? Or is it teaching the surrounding tissue to operate differently, thus causing some change in surrounding tissues? Or, something I'm not thinking about? I would love to know.

Stand up, arch your back, the side that bothers you raise your knee up as high as you can go slowly stretch the leg straight out hold it for 5 seconds then slowly lower your leg down. Repeat five times. Do this little stretch every time you have pain. You might want to lean your hand on the wall, or the back of a chair just to keep your balance.
