What needs to be done to prevent the Middle East peace process from slipping away yet again? - World Economic Forum
Recep Tayyip Erdogan has served as the Prime Minister of Turkey since March 14, 2003. He is the chairman of the Justice and Development Party.
Erdogan was born in Istanbul. His family has descended from Adjara Georgian immigrants who settled from Batumi to Rize. Erdgan spent his early childhood in Rize where his family had settled, before returning to Istanbul at the age of 13. After graduating from a religious high school Imam Hatip school he studied management at Marmara University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Erdogan played semi-professional football in a local neighborhood club for 16 years.
He married Emine Erdogan on 4 July 1978 and they have two sons (Ahmet Burak, Necmeddin Bilal) and two daughters (Esra, Sumeyye).

I love it when someone speaks the truth and away from hypocricy. Turkey is what remained out of the great islamic othman empire. It is islam that brought this country of so many ethnic groups 2 become united. Unfortunately, the othman empire got weaker and left so many of its allies to be eaten by the dogs; not to mention that it sucked the blood of the arabs. Its just wonderful to see a turkish president speaking as a resposible leader of a great nation.

It is a tough job translating from Turkish to English. Almost bordering over impossible. The Turkish syntactical order is completely the opposite of that of English. So, the translator has to wait until the PM finishes his words. And this was off-script. Usually, in important meetings like this, the interpreter is given a script of what is going to be talked about during the conference. She’s caught off-guard here both because of the fact that it’s off script and also the tone of the PM is quite harsh. It’s a stressful job as it is, add the aggressive tone and it becomes even more stressful. It is not as easy as it looks so I wouldn’t judge her like that.

Turkey was strong during Ottomans era and europe did not like that.during 1914,Turkey (Ottomans) was weak, with no power and england, italy, russia, france, greece attacked Turkey and all Turkish men who can manage to use a gun were sent to west of Turkey to defend the country against those countries,in the same time, russia fed armenians who were living in east of Turkey to attack villages, killing babies, old people, and they did so.Turkey sent army to stop those armenians and those armenians PART 1

PART 2 ;those armenians exiled out of Turkey, they were not killed unless they attacked.so there is no genocide.but just Turks are muslim and they gave enough problem to europeans during history, now europe blame Turkey for armenian genocide.as we see, whoever has the power can accuse everyone of anything.Nobody mentiones what france did in africa, england in india, africa, russia in afghanistan.France and England are rich countries, they became rich by exploiting africa and other places! Now,iraq, libya

@DuckingNDiving You seem to think that Gazans and Hammas are two different entities, they are the elected government of Gaza, they are from the people of Gaza, where would they go in a narrow strip of land when israel attacks? To the sea? They don't have the bunkers to hide like the israelis do. And would any sensible, humane government in the world use phosphorus bombs on civilians areas. Just look at the numbers "The conflict left between 1,166 and 1,417 Palestinians and 13 Israelis killed"
