I can't believe Sati baby is going to be 2 soon, time flew by so fast. She just taught me that no matter what language a toddler is trying to speak, it sounds the same 🤣

Proper foot wear is crucial in these mountains. A baby back pack might make it easier to cary Sati.

Yes! I was thinking a child back pack to carry Sati would be so much safer and leave one arm free for balance, and one for the camera. They did very well though. Suzi's backpack looked quite heavy. Sneakers or hikers for sure!

Some folks in here have obviously never left the safety and security of their own living rooms. Dan and Suzi are not the kind of people that sit at home vegetating on the sofa playing video games. They are experiencing life and seeing the wonders of the world and making great memories. Everyone should be doing this.

Our ancestors (no matter who we are) all at some point walked around barefoot or in sandals through rough terrain and things. We are too soft now. Nature is good.
Hawk Master not everyone can afford to travel the world, many of us are very busy working and trying to earn enough money to pay our own bills after the government takes what they feel is their share of it. I have seen 28 states in the US, never been out of the USA and probably never will be so I enjoy watching the Sheekoz family’s little adventures. I definitely am not a video game person. Furthermore far be it from me to read and judge other peoples comments and decide anything about them as a person . This is wrong in my view. You know nothing of their lives unless you actually know them and I for one definitely do not know you.

it is winter in Turkey . There is cold and frost . Looking at the footage of the earthquake you see people are wearing appropriate clothing . Dan is back in Russia . I'm sure of it .

Hello, there little family. I have watched you for a long time and rarely comment. I have been a hiker all of my 63 years and have a 22-year-old daughter and hiked with her when she was young. I always used a backpack for little kids. You would find it so much better than carrying her on your hip.

YES! It is very dangerous carrying his child like that while hiking such trails. Too easy for him to trip and fall and that poor child will go flying.... They should use a child carrier. SMH

did you not notice or look up the weather at where they are at? Its winter there, not summer as in the videos. There would not be any leaves on the trees there right now. Nobody knows nothing about where they are or how they are.
You need a baby backpack when you take hikes like that with Sati.

Hello Adorable’s! When you go out in rural area in Turkey please be careful. The entire family should wear better shoes for hiking & walking about . I am so concerned about snakes. They do have poisonous snakes there.

The right gear when you go hiking makes all the difference. Like proper hiking boots and a toddler carrying backpack. But the climb was worth the effort. Turkey is a beautiful, fascinating country.
Pretty sure they don’t have financial means to purchase those items. Perhaps you could assist financially?
Make sure to drink a ton of water, guys. A family died while hiking in California last year because they were hot and dehydrated. I remember an older video where Dan was intentionally dehydrating himself, it is super dangerous. Stay safe ❤

I think this video was done in warmer weather and loaded up on yt scheduled for today's date . This doesn't mean they just loaded it. We still haven't heard from them that they are ok. I really thought we would have heard from them at least acknowledging the earthquake. Maybe there is no signal for them to do a live. I really hope they are ok. I'm worried for this precious family.

Dan Sheekoz mentioned in an earlier video that they are safe and far from where the major damages and destruction were. He also stated that he would not be commenting much about the catastrophe because he felt it would be not be helpful since he did not have enough first hand information about it. He would leave that to the news outlets closer to the tragedy. Again, Dan, his wife Suzi, and daughter Sati are SAFE.

you and Suzi may want to think about buying hiking boots. The shoes you hike in are so dangerous. I was holding my breath the whole time as I was afraid you would fall.
Just a suggestion, maybe you can find a backpack style baby carrier for Sati. It shifts the weight over the spine for easier balance. Plus you can change easily between you each and letting Sati walk sometimes.

There's so much beauty there, and history. Thank you for showing us all. Suzi, I can totally relate to you when Dan was walking up there on the rocks. I panic too when my husband does that. He loves heights and is so much braver than me. I think because have such a fear of heights, that I fear something bad will happen. Such beautiful words in the end Dan. The world is so full of conflict right now, and it's so refreshing to just watch you and your family on your adventures, instead of all of the hype going on in the world.
I should say, instead of all the despair in the world. It is so depressing to see everything that is happening around us. I'm just so glad you and your family are safe, and prayers and thoughts for those missing their loved ones.

Dan, I have been very worried about you and your family. The earthquakes with all the deaths and injuries are very sad. Seems the only time people come together to help each other is when there is a great tragedy, so sad. We must not let our Governments keep trying to create with everyone. I must say, the message you wrote for everyone, the place you talk about with people loving and caring for each other, sounds like the Heaven that God has promised for those that believe in him and his son, Jesus Christ.
