On the other hand, feral pigs are obviously conditioned to pause and look up to try locate the source of any unfamiliar sound, so the basic reflex will probably still be there.

Holy shit. These shots are deadly accurate considering some of them are made while the hogs are either walking or running. Most of them are one shot, one kill. Man you’re giving military snipers a run for their money.
You think so? ever see a sniper get a between the eyes shot at 1000 yards? most trained snipers can at least make a head shot or body shot at 1000 so my point these farmers have nothing on a well trained sniper... it's not at all hard to hit a dumb animal but I understand why they do it.
The only way to keep the wild hog population in check is for more hunters to get involved. We don’t have them in my area yet, but the move more north every year. It pretty won’t be long until they are in Western Kentucky too.
I'm not too sure of that. Maybe I just have a higher standard I hold myself up to, but a lot of the shots I would not have taken. Yes they kill lots of pigs and I understand that they are responsible for farmland damage. Still, I try to hunt ethically and a lot of shots clearly aren't.
I have been hunting and shooting for 50 years. In the military and civilian. You guys are phenomenal shots. Great pest control. Farmers should pay you by the head. Very humane.

Just a few more weeks and I’ll be able to tolerate the nighttime temperature in the woods. Got plenty of batteries for my thermal scope, the scope is zeroed, got a bunch of handloads done for my 300 BLK, got snake boots...I’m ready! Can’t wait. I get constant reports on my cell phone from my game cameras that indicate that it’s time to tear ‘em up!
Making it more impressive is the facts that most are moving targets and it's at night where the thermal and IR only give you slightly bigger advantage, even with the advancement of those technologies. Great shooting in my books.😊

Just like us in Italy. No one really cares about their increased numbers even in big cities, just to say they are really invading Rome and no one is putting them down (and it's the capital...). Even worse, one day there was a serious car crash caused by some hogs...people rushed for help the animals not the drivers! We are so FUBAR with this situation that some drastic actions are needed, and those are in these videos...but there are too much dumbs that cares more for feral pests than humans😶

I'm telling you guys, fill the feeders with fermented corn and wait a bit while they eat. They'll be too drunk to run away and you'll shoot the whole sounder rather than just two or three while the rest run away.
