This is a fantasy and thoughtful analysis. Any chance you could run something like this for the 2024 rookie WRs?
If I’m mistaken, correct me. Matt Harmon said that Ridley’s new QB is one of the top QBs in throwing inaccurate passes. So why should we believe hat Ridley’s fantasy will improve?
Because he’s gonna get FED targets in an offense that will use him better than Jacksonville.
@@thehorrorfamilyllc Ridley was tied 13th in the league in targets for 2023 and a lot were inaccurate.
So now you’re suggesting that he’s going to be top 5 in targets, be used correctly, but still see a lot of inaccurate passes and I’m supposed to believe his fantasy is going to improve?
What does it matter if he sees 200 targets, but most are inaccurate, how does that mean he’s going to do better?
@@Lhb428 Ridley had 5-9 TD’s that were missed by inches … look up the video on UA-cam. He brings let’s say 4 of them ? That moves him to top 12 last year… and yes Hopkins is out 4-6 weeks… Ridley won’t be used on the boundary And they paid him 90 million .. they are gonna feed him targets correct

@@thehorrorfamilyllc This is all assumptions. The facts are that Ridley went from a very good QB, that threw inaccurate passes to him, to a worst QB that is one of the most inaccurate throwers in the league. Again, how did it get better for him?
If you told me Ridley’s new QB was one of the most accurate, then I would agree with you, but he didn’t. QBs matter and his got worst
I find it difficult to label guys as “Safe” or “Risky”. It sounds like Olave and Wilson have a great floor, but I’ve felt that they are risky picks because they haven’t produced as WR 1s before
The thing about Wilson is that history isn’t on his side.
WRs do not jump as high as he would need to FANTASY-wise to be a top 5 WR.

The fantasy world overvalues both Olave and Wilson. Especially Wilson. His ADP is insane for a player who has never popped off.
@@slickrick8046 Yea it’s tough though at that 9-12 turn. Wilson is like your like your last chance unless a second rounder goes off.
Its just a bad spot to be. I’m at the point where if I’m 9-12 I may just go with two safe top 10 options and try to smash on each round after that.

Yea, you’re right. This is one of the few years when picking at the back of the draft sucks…if you’re going by ADP. This is a “reach” year for me, F the ADP.

What does this data say about DK Metcalf? I noticed JSN was on the weighted list but not DK
DK really is a one-trick pony, he's not on this list because he's not very versatile route runner. His weighted success rate is very average. At this point in his career, the fantasy community knows his ceiling is capped, so he's being priced accordingly. Still not a bad pick, he'll get his own per usual in that offense.
I don't understand the love that Olave gets. Does no one remember last year and how him and Carr were consistentlyl not on the same page? Sure I would take him if the value is there but by no means am I taking him over someone like Collins, Waddle or Evans.
Even though evans is on the other side of 30? And Olave is up and coming? I think Evans is the pick too just worry about the age thing

@@saucyx4 well yeah dynasty and keeper Evans is a no go but redraft I don’t see any issue with it. Waddle is a walking injury I don’t know how everyone seems to forget how often he rides your bench each year with multiple injuries.

Always thought it was weird that Kirk would be primary WR over Ridley. I had Ridley last year. It was brutal but I do put blame on their offense and Trevor at QB
What kind of value would you be seeking for downs in a 1qb dynasty league?
Blaming Lawrence for Ridley’s season is kinda wild. Suddenly nobody remembers him running wrong routes, catching the ball ob, and dropping tds? He was out of the league for almost two years so I get it, but I feel like there’s a lot of revisionist history going on
Lawrence been cheeks since before Ridley got there though. Dude has just as many turnovers as TDs. Last year he was equal in both. Yikes

I have the 4th pick in a ten man league, full ppr, who would you take and why ? Debating between Chase, st brown and JJ, I’m leaning towards Chase and st brown and I can’t decide, please help.

I think St. Brown is more of an immediate impact guy who’s gonna do more while Goff is there. Chase I think can be better again after the bengals offense gets back on track but he’s gonna be good for longer time and proved he can compete in a more crowed receiver room.
Chase is more boom or bust guy too while still brown Is very consistent.
JJ I think is better than both receivers and commands way more targets no matter who he plays with so I’m not worried that he does have more competition. You’ll have to worry about his qb play for a couple years tho.
I am no expert tho. I’m curious to see other options.
I’m in the exact same situation, was mainly debating between Chase and Amon. I’m gonna go Chase because he averages 19ppg with burrow healthy and has the upside to be overall WR1. Amon is super safe tho and also a great consistent scorer, I just don’t see him being able to finish WR1 overall like I do Chase.

Why doesn’t more people talk about Sutton?? I mean he is the number1 wr on denver & only wr on that team so i can see him being a nice sneaky pick.. he needs more love no doubt Nix looks like he can get Sutton the ball
Tournament type dictates the conversation. Sutton is fairly relevant in best ball, in regular redraft he’s not.
Denver will be a bottom 5 offense. Over the last 10 years WR 1 on a bottom 5 offense only have about a 10% chance of finishing in top 24. None had finished top 10. If Sutton is projected WR 40 and finishes wr 25 that great in best ball. Other than match up spike weeks Sutton isn’t draftable because the upside is so limited and his floor is a wr 3 league wide.
Don’t confuse good nfl players with good fantasy options

Really does come down to that as well as a potent offense. Its that simple. If the jets move the ball, rogers stays healthy and Wilson gets 14 targets per game. He could be the #1wr

This list was based on the highest weighted success rates in 2023. Pickens wasn't on the list because he wasn't at the top in the weighted success rate category. This video had nothing to do with him.
