This zoo is probably the only place you'll find wildlife these days. Even though most of the forests are either empty or dead, there are still over 300,000 registered hunters paying their hunting fee each year. It's allowed to hunt in national parks and it's even allowed to shoot a mother bear with her whelps if you desire to do so. Apparently these hunters seems to think the forests are in desperate need of their "wildlife management" services. Since most human hunters pledge for the culling of their animal counterparts, the wolf will probably hit the extinction list first.
I'm gonna have to promptly call BS on that. I live in the countryside of Finland and there's plenty of wildlife. Just get a landowner's permission to set up a trail camera in their forest, preferrably near some natural trails and just wait a few weeks. You'll have lots of wildlife photos. I've seen deer, heard foxes, caught a badger on a trail camera, seen many birds, etc. There's plenty of wildlife out there, you just gotta know where to look
