Fun fact: Japan actually had a Coca Cola Star Wars tie-in during its 1978 release of the New Hope. The promotional glass bottle was nothing special but the inner side of the crown featured 50 character portraits and stills from the films.
Don’t forget that was 2 Pepsi Star Wars paint schemes for Jeff Gordon in NASCAR. In 1999, he drove the Pepsi Star Wars Episode 1 paint scheme in the NASCAR BUSCH SERIES and Episode 3 Pepsi/DuPont car for the Cup Series in 2005.
I remember the 2012 Brisk campaign also had a fruit ninja clone mobile game where you slice Brisk with a lightsaber and fight Darth Maul. Those commercials were so fun.
I also remember The Phantom Menace Pepsi cans and had all of them... Minus the gold one LOL. Actually a couple years ago my dad called me up when he was cleaning out the basement asking what I wanted him to do with them. And trying to get out of that hoarder mentality. I told him to return them for the bottle deposit. P.S. Pepsi and Mountain Dew is king. However, the true greatest soda is the only one who stuck it out to get their advanced medical degree... First of all I remember a Star Wars soda commercial where a little boy is slurping a soda at the movies which drives Darth Vader nuts that he force squeezes the cup and the theater guy’s flashlight becomes a lightsaber and they fight above the audience’s heads. And second I’m a Pepsi person.
However in Canada has that 7UP SW TPM (i think replacing the Pepsi Ones i think) in it bcoz Pepsi has international rights to produce 7UP worldwide I remember the Coke Zero x SW TROS cans, thats the only time i collected it for fun bcoz it is closest thing to Pepsi SW TPM.
I love Star Wars and soda but I loathe Pepsi and refuse to drink it. Needless to say that if I ever get down to Disney world again, I will totally be drinking SW themed coke
