I am pretty sure we've got a Cardale? It's from 1995 - that's when we had a new garage door. Hasn't been opened for at least twenty years !

Question: the garage door is locked but somehow the retaining clip has come away so the barrel has come out when the key was pulled out. So how do I open the locked garage door? I put the barrel back in and turn the key but it just won't open the lock..HELP

You will probably have lost the cam arm which lock and opens the lock, I would ask a garage door firm or locksmith for a price to open for you.
