I wish we saw more of the Akerman's story in AoT. I would like to have seen more of Kenny; and Mikasa is such an important character. Much of her character development is more subtle so it's sad she ends up just looking like Eren's bodyguard for much of the show.
Their relationship was nuanced and complex, but she will get her moment. I've long seen her as less of a body guard and more of a badass with a heart of gold.
