Have you actually heard stories of foreigners go into Gaza? They get greeted with kindness and Gazans begging them to spread word of their suffering. Don't believe the media hype.

Back in the Vietnam War era, students were also "passionate" about certain political causes. Unfortunately, their passion often triumphed over logic and common sense - resulting in counterproductive behavior. Fast-forward to today and we see the same phenomenon playing out. The cause de jour changes but human nature doesn't.

Hamza condemned the intimidation of Jews and Israelis across campuses and wrote, "These folks would be your partners if the protests were about achieving lasting peace and justice for Palestinians and Israelis."
