@@larryliang6748 ouch man he was joking. But you revealed your toxicity, we play starcraft to have fun, and the balance team and the community isn'T just about balance but about good fun game design and removing unnecessarily frustrating elements. It's not all just about winning.
That last game was tragic. If he hadn't lost the 2nd cruiser he probably crushes that fight. What a game. Props to Parting though, he feels weakness and attacks with the conviction of a prophet.
i thought the same thing. but maybe it was just fated to lose, he couldnt kill the stalkers, nor the collossus. a second BC could help, but partinG was able to resuply those stalkers incredibly fast, anyway,
well remember that parting miss micro blinked the stalkers at 31:02 so that one cruiser would've also been dead, which turned out to be an important part of the defense at home.
to me, the biggest mistake was the double medvac that didnt really add anything to the fight. so instead of them, if he made another bc, or maybe even some vickings to try and scare the collossus, things could've turned better for him.
I feel like all of the ESL matches being done are really really good. So many potential matches to showcase and cast, all of them having the chance of having a very unique event like in game 3 with the BC's. Very fun and exciting!
I haven't watched pro Starcraft videos since the days of HD & HuskyStarcraft, and I must say I have enjoyed your videos a lot so far! No over-exaggeration or shouting, just quality commentary
Hey Winter, just a little tip i assumed you knew this already : At 5.21 it doesnt matter if he clicked on the building or not. If u spott a building that is being created you can just place a marker on it and it will tell you what building it is. So it doesnt matter if he saw it in that exact moment or not.
Kinda random 😂 but yea he was cool he was def not scared to tell someone wat they did and why they lost a game for it, gonna miss someone in the rts scene is straightforward like that
16 warp gates. That is how you stop that maxed out big mech army. Because when they kill your army, and they will, you can just warp in 16 charge lots and finish off whatever is left.
This was very enjoyable match. Edit: One thing I'd like to see is more maps, I feel like these are old and well known. A tournament where only brand new maps for that event would be played would be interesting to see because players would have to adapt their builds and scouting on the fly.
Thats an interesting idea. They choose the most balanced maps they can find, in theory though. You cant know what is and isnt imbalanced for a certain race until the ladder gets a hold of it. New maps in a tournament would receive a lot of hate from the players I would think
@@BullCityCocktails That is kind of my point. Get them out of a comfort zone. And as for balance, as long as you mirror the map, I consider it balanced. Game is not zerg vs Toss vs Terran after all, but 1 on 1. Every race has tools to traverse terrain and while it is clearly easier on some maps than on others, I want to see the top players' solutions to a new problem in real time.
I think if you get wind of one early on, you can build a handful of extra stalkers to deal with an early BC or two without compromising your primary game plan. I think in winter's vids he does a great job of saying "well since we saw that we will take a break from probes and build a few stalkers here" when he catches wind of an early timing attack such as BC rush.
Go to your options, go to "Observer & Replay", there's an option called "Replay Interface", if I remember correctly, winter is using the WCS 3.0 Interface in this video. Note that if you change the interface option while in a replay, It only takes effect in the next replay you watch.
Yeah... battlecruiser vs blink stalker sounds like a bad idea on paper... and it seems to be a terrible idea. Even without Blink going for 2 battlecruisers when the Toss has mostly stalkers and collossi is still a bad idea.
1st game, if uthermal had done a safer push with a proper tank line he could've won easily. Instead he just a-moved into a protoss concave without sieging tanks and lost. 3rd game, uthermal didn't repair his tanks during his first push. If he had kept them alive I think the game could've ended right there.
These are from his stream dummy. Streamers tend to show themselves. You could cover that part of the screen i guess. He doesnt make videos for You Tube. He uploads chunks of his live stream on Twitch to you tube. So, tough shit.
Dude ur fucking dumb, parting is just good , hes one of the only tosses who didnt give up is why he can still do that , try playing toss and seeing for urself how u hold against battlecruisers
"Those degenerate protoss players and their ridiculous tactics is why nobody loves them" LMFAO. Honestly killed me.
A win is a win. there are no good or bad tactics. should focus on trying to figure out some "ridiculous tactics" to get a win next time.

See in Terran brains are seen as hacks and Zerg think they are myths and legends.

1 more tank and he would've crushed the fight

That battle at the end of game 1 was a clear expample of: More sh1t counters less sh1t
Much love to the Terrans who had to watch the double CC block

Uthermal in the first game just got some thors and tanks, a-moved and lost... Kinda bad /: Overly confident
I don't understand why he didn't invest in even one turret tower to keep the observers away. Especially if he knows his opponent likes blink.

Looks like someone had his ass burned by protoss a few too many times. All I know is that probes need Yamato cannons.
