This song is actually titled Aces High March used in the beginning of the film THe Battle of Britain from around 1968. If you enjoy history and WWII aviation, you’ll enjoy that movie. No CGI, just real planes.
This is a British composition, not a German march. The piece is called "Aces High". I'm not sure if it was written especially for the movie, or if it already existed earlier and was simply chosen to be in the movie score. In reality there was no "Luftwaffe March", same as there was no "Wehrmacht march".
I remember that song from a movie of 70-80s with name "Battle of Britain" i still have the movie is so awesome and when i play with Luftwaffe i hearing the songs. Excellent video
From 2:41 to 3:14... I instead imagine the Bismarck, supported by the luftwaffe, and it’s next to land and there are troops marching, and tanks rolling by... just me... okie
@@trombone1706 Yeah I really want to do it but I first need to learn how to properly draw anything. One of my ideas is to do "Mayor Tom" (The German Version which is alo knows as "Völlig losgelöst") with black and white visuals similar to the one seen in "Take On Me" but with a lower FPS count.
Ahh this is so well done. I love how British composed had a taste of Teutonic style of German march tune in this masterpiece. It feels like an honor to German pilots that had always tried their best to fight British in the air like gentlemen. Airforces between the two had a mutual respect as it turned out for Von Richthofen - he was feared, but fought with dignity and respect. Germany had the best airforce and would still be if they had sufficiently personnel to work as mechanics and order spare parts to make fighters operational as their airforces are waiting for taking off. The British and the Germans both are Germanic people, this would probably result a composition like this. Absolutely stunning.
Wonderful march composed by the Englishman Ron Goodwin for the film "The Battle of Britain" in 1969. The march sounds beautifully German. The film is very good, pity about the ending...
Yea, I know. The annoying thing to me is that there are other videos on UA-cam that feature Panzerlied either from the movie The Battle of the Bulge or from Girls und Panzer that are still up.

What strikes me is how Nazi Germany failed (thank goodness!) to effectively pursue the mass production of some of these advanced designs. The Luftwaffe was effectively having to make do with repeatedly updated obsolete designs for much of the war, while lack of vision and in-fighting hindered the development of aircraft that could have presented major challenges to the allies.
If Udet had not been impressed with dive bombers, and instead had opted for four engine strategic bombers instead the war would have been different. Along those lines, if the Luftwaffe had paid attention to the Horton Brothers and built a " flying wing" New York City could have been bombed.
If the Air Ministry had had a bit of foresight then the RAF would have had jet fighters years before Germany and the Luftwaffe would have been wiped from the sky and the war shortened by a significant margin.

One of the best WW2 movies considering most of the movie used real planes.
It was actually titled "Luftwaffe March" originally. Ron Goodwin, the composer changed the name later.
das ist gute,,,,sehr gute,,,,,,,,,,,,
Fun fact: The film assembled so many aircraft it became the 33rd largest airforce at the time!
A most delicious irony was that the 'luftwaffe' in the movie were Spanish variants powered by RR Merlin engines!
I love this march and the movie it was composed for, "Battle of Britain". But there exist a real Luftwaffe march. Not so well known, but fine enough.
This British Luftwaffe March is hard to beat.
Which one are you referring to? The Luftwaffe had many songs.
