She reminds me a lot of younger self in terms of never realizing my true potential while shining a light on someone I felt deserved it . Does Kelly realize she deserves it too ? You may have been listening to her voice which has always been the most compelling out of all the members, but your eyes went to the other girls. Beyonce needed DC just as much as They needed her. She had the voice but she needed time mature in the dynamic department. An area that Latavia and Letoya already had down to a science. Their enegy was undeniable and the camera loved Kelly and only grew as time went on. Every member of Destiny's child has vocal ability and beauty. But it was systematically created for Beyonce to be the star. Ask anyone who remembers when they first came out. Beyonce the was not the fav she was the lead. Kelly was the fav and people wanted to hear more of Kelly. In fact had she not been so timid she would of been my choice for a leader. Her voice is equally as powerful as Beyonce and more suited for r&b. Only thing that held her back was her shy nature and Matthew stunting growth.
