Every Poles 1st and 2nd Rounder has hit, Not that Bears fans notice 😅. Bro!!! We used to hit 1/10 in the 1st Rd!!!! The 1st Rd!!! The Best Elite GMs hit 🎯 at 33%ish. Poles has hit around 70% in the draft. Maybe the new Ast GM can have great success in the 3rd Rd 😂 Fr tho. That's how you build
agreed. i try pointing this out to poles haters. hes done a decent job flus / coaching was an issue. we still need more talent but at least we aren’t spending a ton of money on our lines with high picks like the titans and are still horrible. we are just getting what we pay for.
@shake6321 Agree 💯. Poles has development to do and needs to go 100% Trenches. DT, DE, C, G, T Definitely. With about 90mil in cap and these picks he can get it done, but he's gotta have the right coach. You mentioned Tennessee, well, maybe Vrabel shouldn't be on the list. He didn't win much. Pete Carroll did and wants the job tho. He had a Dynasty with similar talent.
JimFinks was the genius . Ryan Pace was a moron . Kevin White ? Mitch Trubisky ? Poles has been OK , but deserves more for the monster trade with Carolina .... still paying dividends .
@@knowledgeuntamed9177 We have to get an offensive mastermind as our Coach. Caleb needs a coach dedicated to him. the last OC Caroll hired was shane waldron. Yikes
Adam! Great mock draft and I LOVE trading back in the first round. I'm willing to bet Poles trades back for sure. I love Dylan Sampson! He has great vision at the point of attack with excellent patience. I haven't seen many RB's coming out of college with his vision and patience at the point of attack. Bear Down!!
Lead, follow or get out of the way. You are leading. Great video, mock draft and overview. "Scraps for backup" and "Not a power back" nailed the offensive roster. Amen. Idea for your next mock draft video " Go Big or Go Home".
Same principles I hold for my offseason. I will leave out any comp picks for Cunningham as I don't want to assume he gets hired this offseason just to limit myself that extra pick. No issues with the FA signings really, but if we don't retain Teven, I sure hope we are signing someone comparable to not leave both G spots devoid of starter level talent where we aren't counting on a rookie to HAVE to be the guy from day one. I went ahead and utilized the same trade partner of SEA, however my trade package was slightly different with sending out R1p9 and receiving R1p18, R2p50, R6p212, and a 2026 2nd. Probably a little bit of an overpay, but hey, SEA wants to come up and get their guy and it isn't a crazy overpay. R1p18 - DT Walter Nolan R2p37 - OL Wyatt Milum R2p40 - EDGE Shemar Stewart (Princely Umanmielen off the board) R2p50 - S Kevin Winston Jr (Xavier Watts off the board and decided to grab the S instead of Tate Ratledge as I felt another OL I like can be had later) R3p71 - C Jared Wilson R5p143 - RB Dylan Sampson R6p196 - DT DeMonte Capeheart R6p212 - OT Ozzy Trapilo R7p231 - LB Jay Higgins (Jackson Woodard wasn't on the board) R7p245 - WR Jimmy Horn Jr (Honestly didn't have any prior info on any of the WRs still on the board and just took a flier on the bloodline) Now let's see what Ben Johnson & his staff can do. 🐻⬇️
Your take on Andrew billings barely being a backup on half of nfl teams is laughable. He’s a valuable leader and run stuffing vet who can push the pocket and play with consistency. I think all teams want a drew bill.
Great show Adam. After you pointed me in the right direction I’ve been following Skatebo. That young man is an old school Walter Payton type RB. I’m sure there are better backs coming out but none have the heart he does. I hope the bears can get him.
I feel like a Browns fan, with the NEVER ENDING rebuild and pleathra of draft picks. We need depth yes, but we also NEED blue chip players. Love your videos brotha
Most ideal situation, the McCaskeys sell and they sell to someone who actually cares about the product on the field. In lieu of that, nice picks Adam. As a lifelong ND fan, id love if we got Watts, he would fit into our secondary so well. Great player.
T. Jenkins was last #1 rnd tackle that was decent but miss games, maybe 2nd rnd o-lineman might be good pick spot with our luck 🤞🍀🫠.. those two '2nd rnd picks are a safety net 🥅.. NFC champs 2025 🏈🏈 yes rb Wheeler would have been good this season, can't wait 4 return..
If the Bears get a 3rd rnd compensatory pick Poles could use that to trade up closer to the end of the 1st or top of the 2nd if a great player on his board is sitting there...and get a 4th/5th back as well. That pick gives you a lot of options.
Hey I don't know how realistic this mock is. But I'm fully on board with your thinking & potential draft options! This would improve my faith in this team & GM if this were to happen! I'd love this result.
I find it hard to believe Jenkins will only get a Nate Davis contract, even with the injuries. Feels like every team needs oline every year so somebody will likely pay him more imho. That’d be perfect for us though.
I’m not lying when I say this, I seriously mocked the EXACT same draft in the first 3 rounds😂. My only worry is that Wyatt Milum is gonna go first round and Walter Nolan will be gone before 21. But I also love adding a safety that’s high quality
Walker i would like to keep as DE3 as well but ... How much do we save cutting him? Isn't it around 8mil? That's alot of $$$ towards a top DE and alot to pay what we hope becomes a backup.
Question? Do you believe the DC will really see value & talent in these players? Defense might seem similar but roles & responsibilities could be totally different. HC also on offense same thing except we have yet to see good scheme or strategy to setup a defence! GO BEARS AND BEAR DOWN 🐻 ❤❤❤
Any DC should walk in here knowing that we have a talented secondary that needs a few pieces and an absolutely abysmal D line. I think any DC would realize we have work to do.
Kudos to you on identifying Josh Palmer, Adam. I feel that having Palmer as WR3 and Rome as WR2 or even WR1 is better than retaining Keenan Allen and having Rome remain WR3. Watch Illinois RT JC Davis Tape 📼 It's gonna shock you. Nfl will have him higher rated than the media. Same with the Illinois Edge's, CB's. They are high on the 2 WRs. But i was Davis go against Penn St and dominate, Oregon and dominate, Michigan and dominate. So... definitely a kid to keep an eye on
Another quality off season / mock. Do you have Ryan Poles contact dets? Love your work showing different options. Thanks again for your effort you put in. Cheers Scott
I really like this draft. I like the higher probability of us going 2nd tier in FA. I really like the FA of Gosiki, T. Brown, and Sweat. I hope Poles can execute a real good trade down and also execute on the picks. Was the Fields 6th rounder included? If we ate picking somewhere 7 to 9 and that real good DT is there, would you still trade down?
😂😂😂 Twinkie Poles is just going to grab a bunch of wide-outs and say that his offensive line is the best he has ever seen. The Bears are the new Cleveland browns of the NFC North
Great video - I pray this happens. Unfortunately, I can’t see Milum, Princely, Watts or Sampson being available where you’re drafting them. Especially Milum - with so many teams needing offensive line help and the limited number of quality lineman, I doubt he gets out of the top 20.
drafting a center in the 3rd round, i'm in. who knows we may end up another olin kreutz who also was drafted in the 3rd round from washington. though not a fan of olin when he was in high school but he's a bear, so it's all good.
Honestly, I think you trade down one or two to acquire the 4th rd you lost for Bates / Booker. Then, trade back into 1st rd using one of your 2nd rd picks I would go after DL Graham & LT Simmons. Then RB Hampton / Johnson or TE Fannin Jr. in 2nd rd at 40. In 3rd rd you C Zabel or G Jackson & RT Charles Grant or DE Jack Sawyer. I think the Bears should move Darnell Wright & Kiran Amegadjie to RG & LG but that’s me. Whether keep Shelton or Draft a center. The 4th rd pick Safety Castro or TE Gunnar Helm. I want the Bears to have offense similar to the Ravens and the defense similar to the Vikings. That’s what fits this team right now. I want Brian Flores as our HC and Brian Daboll as our OC. This my opinion. It just right to me.
What are your thoughts on Ashton Gillotte, Mike Green, and Donovan Ezeiruaku? They grade out really high, but I don't see a lot of people mocking them in the 1st or 2nd round for some reason.
I like Donovan Ezeiruaku the most of those that you listed. Mike Green is a no go as high as people are projecting him. Too many flaws. I like Ashton Gillotte as developmental a lot. But not as a premium pick
I agree that the draft should have 2 DLs, 2-3 OLs, and an RB. I'm not as high on getting a safety until the later rounds or via FA. I think most of us are agreed if Graham is there, you take him, and a Top 20 OT is not the right pick. But if we are dropping back, I would not accept anything lower than #15 if you want Nolan or Millum, and you are not getting both if pick number two is #37. What I wanted to address the most is RB. Beleive it or not, the RB room plays a lot into the the O-line and QB performance. If you end up in 2nd and long or 3rd and long on a constant basis, which we have been guilty of all season, the blitzes pile up, and your O-line gets beat up, and your QB gets frazzled. So for RB, I want to address that in the 3rd round, no sooner, and no later. Get a Johnson, Henderson, Judkins, Gordon, or Singleton, and I might settle for a Skattebo in the 5th. But Sampson is not exciting me and none of the other RBs are looking any better than Roschon IMO. So in a nutshell, Running Back over Safety in overall priority.
This is a great video by you. Thanks for the hard work. How are they going to get all pro ,best at a position player? They need stars Maybe JOSH SWEAT COULD BE. I DONT SEE ANY POTENTIAL OL PROBOWLS. SO MOSTLY A TEAM OF AVERAGE PLAYERS MEANS 8-8 team last place in division.
Jared Wilson 6'3/310 running a 4.8 40 is crazy. Landon Jackson or Princely Umanmielen would be my picks at DE too. What are your thoughts on Grey Zabrel? A guy u can put anywhere except center. Have u watched much tape on him?
@Beardownsports thats fair. I'm seen a little footage on him and I'm impressed at how angry he plays no matter what position. Love the channel and I'm with u on trading back and getting Walter Nolen 1st. I'm a firm believer and advocate for trading back for multiple mid rounds. It's only 32 teams and naysayers forget this Draft is loaded. Everybody can't go in round 1. U can get round 1 talent all through round too and sometimes round 2A talent in the 3rd. Bear down
Going for a LT this year is the stupidest thing I've heard with our needs. Check out some actual content in my other videos and you'll understand. Passing up on this year's D line in the first round is asinine
Really like your ideas! However we still need a good oline coach. I'm a fiscal guy but I wouldn't have that big buffer, I'd rather spend for a little better players or extensions and then redo a contract at the time when we need it.
I am worried we are planning to start 2 rookie interior line man with a frequently injured interior line man. I would rather try get Trey Smith in free agency instead of Josh Sweat, then use the Ratledge pick on another defensive lineman. From Poles perspective, he can't gamble on going another season with a so-so offensive lineman, even if the defense plays great, it's offense or bust.
letting keenan go to build defense isn’t what you with a young Qb. i’ve now realized that you can’t make “smart” moves with a young qb. you gotta make the right moves. if you have to overpay for oline and weapons to get your qb more comfortable then you gotta. keenan’s gotta stay. a legit running back and running game has to be established. it doesn’t matter if you have to overpay james connor or spend a high draft pick on an rb. the oline needs a splash. I wouldn’t be shocked if poles made Stanley, the highest paid offensive lineman in the NFL or if he signed Robinson from the Rams, paid him a ton of money and moved him inside to guard. These are the types of moves that you have to make aggressively get better. I don’t think you can sit around and turn this into a five-year projectand hope guys like Tevin Jenkins finally play well just so you can save a few dollars. you should do a mock where you just splurge on offense to finally fix the bears biggest issue for 65 years.
looks like we're still 2-3 years away from being 2-3 years away from being 2-3 years away from being competitive. Time for a proper tear down and rebuild.
adam what’s your take on nick nash. haven’t seen him play but box score watching he leaded fbs in everything and seems to be mocking 6-7 round. think he might be an opportunity guy who could come up and everyone goes “how did we not draft him he was so good in college”
I watched him play (all be it in a rain game) and he looks like a good athlete. How well he'll match up against "tough" DB's at an NFL level would be my concern. Which is why small schools need to be treated like small schools. The combine can help and if he gets a east/west invite (I don't know if he did) but he isn't tested, so he's a flyer.
They made the mistake of not having a veteran QB for Caleb to lean on while Waldron was overwhelmed. If they do the right thing & do whatever it takes to get Ben Johnson he'll bring in a vet. Nice off-season but you only have 1 Starting caliber LB & weak at safety if Byard stays & Brisker is still hampered. Like Watts & Tyrique at Safety. What do you think about 1 yr prove it deals for Greenlaw & Hufuaga, if healthy they'd transform the identity of this finesse defense along with the addition of Josh Sweat??
They do every year Look at what New Orleans has done the last half a decade I have very little confidence we get a shot at Trey Smith. If KC wins the Superbowl, there's a 0.0% chance
Can you do one where we got the two 3 round picks for Ian cunningham don’t know if both would be this year or how that would work but would love you see a video adding those in there
@ okay thanks appreciate it think you do a good job like bears fans have said it’s all we got hopefully poles trades down and get a good little haul think your videos are great though want the draft to already be here lol
if Kelvin Banks is there, you take him at 9, stop the braxton jones experiment, he’s at most a good backup T. Move Kieran to Guard, Draft a center and another guard. You fix the line.
What about getting a fullback again? I'm always thinking about extra blockers. I would also be OK with getting more of a blocking TE. I'm all about protecting Caleb this year.
That just depends on the coach we hire There's only like 10 teams that still use a FB that's not multi purpose, especially with RB's becoming so diverse
I mean, why would the Saints do that? Dirt cheap contract for one of the best centers. I just don't see the upside for the Saints, but I would be elated if it happened
Bates is another FA bust that isn't worth hanging around. Everett never earned his salary. Bears don't need a 20 million Slot on the back end of his HoF career. Use that money to snag a decent OL, DL, DE. Opens up the draft a bit more. RB and Safety is a secondary need that needs considered. Like the video Adam!
Horrible, let’s stay status quo- sign mid level and protect the future. Thanks and once again we’re 6-10 this year. Go Bears. Either bring high end talent to supplement all the mid level that’s already on the bears.
If you're a GM, you don't draft a developmental player in the 3rd round when you are desperate in the trenches! Poles can see flashy bells and whistles in a DJ Moore, but he has no business thinking he can find a developmental talent!!!🤷♂️🤦♂️
@@dillavedderx5959 oh, I see Each draft is different though and the middle rounds of last year's draft were totally different than this year's. This year is a totally different story, and last year was much weaker in that regard
This team needs VIOLENCE AND SPEED!! Need 2 safeties, can't count on Brisker & Byard is below average. TRADE EDMUNDS, SOFT & BAD! #3 WR needs to be a short area quick burner. Edge with an electric first step, violent hands, relentless & aggressive motor. Down hill angry RB, a bully OG & Center. Monster DT, bone breaking LB & safety. That's another reason Poles needs to go, he drafts high character athletes. They need, violent, aggressive, relentless, angry FOOTBALL PLAYERS!!
Brisker needs to wear a guardian cap, Q-Collar, and a neck roll Brian Cox would be envious of. I want to have him look like Christian Okoye.

I have
I actually think you can play him at center, but I'm not hyping a lower level of competition guy until I see him in the Senior Bowl
Bear down
Perfect situation for final week jets beat Miami Bears move up to 7 and second round 38 and 39
Looks great Poles needs to make it happen.
He needs to hit a home run this offseason!
Mike Gesicki can't block . Some good TE s in draft that will cost less .
No to Josh Sweat . He's declined the last 2 years . DT at 9 ? You're crazy, man. It has to be a top LT , or LT, G .
100%
We need better coaches and strength and conditioning 🐻⬇️
Being at 10 now probably makes the trade mentioned in this video null now.
Great draft! What about trade/cut Edmund’s scenarios and get Dalman at center and/or pick up a draft pick. Get Jihaad Campbell.
This is why Shelton might start the year. Milum is a great option to have if you resign Tev
letting keenan go to build defense isn’t what you with a young Qb.
i’ve now realized that you can’t make “smart” moves with a young qb. you gotta make the right moves. if you have to overpay for oline and weapons to get your qb more comfortable then you gotta.
keenan’s gotta stay.
a legit running back and running game has to be established. it doesn’t matter if you have to overpay james connor or spend a high draft pick on an rb.
the oline needs a splash.
What about the offensive line?
I love this but honestly we need a better bruiser running back Roshon ain’t it.
Gotta let jenkins walk man, best ability is availability.
You are assuming Tre Smith will be resigned by KC ? They would have to move contracts around to do so ?
They do every year
Look at what New Orleans has done the last half a decade
I have very little confidence we get a shot at Trey Smith. If KC wins the Superbowl, there's a 0.0% chance
Like it a lot Adam 🐻⬇and play 🏈
🐻⬇️
Can you do one where we got the two 3 round picks for Ian cunningham don’t know if both would be this year or how that would work but would love you see a video adding those in there
I've done a few that way.
It's one pick a year for two years.
- 3rd round comp 2025
- 3rd round comp 2026
@ okay thanks appreciate it think you do a good job like bears fans have said it’s all we got hopefully poles trades down and get a good little haul think your videos are great though want the draft to already be here lol
We’re the most neediest team for a tackle.
if Kelvin Banks is there, you take him at 9, stop the braxton jones experiment, he’s at most a good backup T. Move Kieran to Guard, Draft a center and another guard. You fix the line.
We need to extend Gordon
💯
What about getting a fullback again? I'm always thinking about extra blockers. I would also be OK with getting more of a blocking TE. I'm all about protecting Caleb this year.
That just depends on the coach we hire
There's only like 10 teams that still use a FB that's not multi purpose, especially with RB's becoming so diverse
What if we trade for Erick McCoy??? Definitely fix our center spot
You basically re-signed our current offensive line. No Adam. We’re not doing that
Best offensive line we've had in half a decade, but adding 3 great rookies to it? 🤔
Sign me up
Thank you for using smart strategy cutting Keenan Allen this time
I thought he'd be a good fit but we need to get younger. 🐻⬇️
Do need to keep Tez.
I don’t like keeping Braxton Jones as our starting LT. Dude can’t handle the bull rush at all he’s too much of a liability
bears need a LEFT TACKLE......jones is a backup; shelton is 3rd string....bears need a C
I dont agree wit this, but its the most realistic
Realistically, Brown would be a replacement for Pryor, you don't do both. Also IC is not getting a job, the only one available is the Jets job
Kicker?
Seahawks have been eliminated from the playoffs. No way their original pick was 21.
It has to start from getting Ben Johnson .
Manifest it! Let's go!
The overalls on madden are in the 60s and low 70s for the bears , bears are a below average team a reflection
Horrible, let’s stay status quo- sign mid level and protect the future. Thanks and once again we’re 6-10 this year. Go Bears.
Either bring high end talent to supplement all the mid level that’s already on the bears.
Who is this high end talent you speak of?
I'm curious
If you're a GM, you don't draft a developmental player in the 3rd round when you are desperate in the trenches! Poles can see flashy bells and whistles in a DJ Moore, but he has no business thinking he can find a developmental talent!!!🤷♂️🤦♂️
If we can land Watts, Ratledge, or Wilson in the 3rd round, it's an absolute steal
Not sure who you're referring to as a bad pick?
@Beardownsports I'm taking about last year, speaking on Poles.
@@dillavedderx5959 oh, I see
Each draft is different though and the middle rounds of last year's draft were totally different than this year's. This year is a totally different story, and last year was much weaker in that regard
Trade back, trade back, trade back! Should’ve could’ve done this in 2024. This was RyanPoles biggest mistake so far.
Bro you should fr be the GM 😂
A+ draft and off-season Adam!!! great video
Appreciate it Kevin
🐻⬇️
Finally, someone who knows what he’s talking about! We need more speed on offense badly!
Too unrealistic that a team gives up a second and third to move up.
From 21 to 9 👀👀
Ny not drafting milroe milroes stock fell off so bad this season
Josh Blackwell will leave for a bigger paycheck.
The place you have nolen and millum going are both nonsense. Millum won't be available at 21 let alone 38 lol
Nolen is gone late first round. Maybe just maybe millum fall to the second but he gone early second round
If Poles is still GM next season, he won't cut Bates and Everett. He doesn't admit his mistakes.
Oofff... You might be right
