Hollywood is not my cup of tea. I loved many old movies - but today I reject Hollywood. HOWEVER, "The Greatest Show On Earth" is the exception to my rejection. I loved this movie. Hugh Jackman is a clean cut actor. He is a person of inimitable integrity in his private life, and his clean cut living seemed to make the roguish activities of P. T. Barnum seem likable. Consider the actor who can't say one sentence without swearing (I can't think of his name) and does a commercial in which he calls our president a "punk." If an actor such as he had played Barnum, Barnum may have appeared to be a snake oil salesman, and his circus family - and real family - rogues.
