Super Auto Pets is a cute free autobattler (like Teamfight Tactics) that is really cute and has some strategic depth. Give it a try, you may be surprised by how much it mooves you!

From my experience with this game your spiders will always pay out a badger, but the other guys spider will always pay out the most synergistic tier 3 for their team
He was loyal to the spider even though it gave him a badger ever single time
And if he kept the horse and leveled it, it would’ve just increased the attack of the busses lol

I'm new to NL's channel. Where did this saying come from? What does it mean?
@@jauggy I believe it's an imitation of the trainwreckstv's slot machine streams that were the subject of some controversy on twitch a while back. The first time I recall NL saying it was when he and Dan were playing some war game and were talking about watching the streams. In this context when he talks about another squeeze, NL is asking for another roll of the dice to get a rare/powerful animal, while acting like a gambling addict taking another spin on the slot machine.

In case anyone was wondering regarding 22:05 The flowchart goes as follows
With the units places in order of Fly, Spider, Kangroo, Whale, Deer a round would go like this
Start of round, Whale knocks out Deer, summoning Deers passive (the bus). As there is no room for the fly passive to spawn, the Deer passive takes priority over the fly passive. The resulting team comp would look like this
Fly, Spider, Kangaroo, Whale, Bus
Upon the bus dying it would activate the Fly passive, summoning a 2/2 fly in its place. this resulting team comp would look like this
Fly, Spider, Kangaroo, Whale, Fly
It's important to note that the Fly passive does not proc upon the death of summoned flies, and so this is the point in our team comp when we would start properly losing units, and permanently opening up slots. Once the Fly dies, the team will consist of 4 units
Fly, Spider, Kangaroo, Whale
Upon the Whale's death, it will release the Deer it swallowed at the start, and considering the whale is a non summoned Fly death, a 2/2 fly will summon in front of the newly released Deer. The team comp is now
Fly, Spider, Kangaroo, Deer, Fly
As the summoned Fly dies, the team reverts back to 4 units.
Fly, Spider, Kangaroo, Deer
when the Deer dies, it will summon its faint ability, the bus. And also seeing as the Deer is a non summoned Fly unit, it's death with also summon a 2/2 Fly. The team comp now looks like this
Fly, Spider, Kangaroo, Bus, Fly
I'm sure you understand the process at this point, so I won't bother writing it all out. The point of this post is to clarify the mechanics of the Fly unit. In a build consisting of mostly summoned units, and buffs for said summons, the Fly is absolutely a brilliant unit to have among your ranks!

@@dbaker280 Because every time I try to make a summon build it gets walled by something like camel with peacock or kangaroo. I haven’t gotten tiger turkey combo yet though.
@@zerdodylan I literally just lost a very close came with summons and turkey and reading your comment made me realize I could've won by taking tiger. Makes me feel really stupid in hindsight for missing that, however this was only my second game so I'm still getting a hand of synergies. I thought I was being liberal with selling stuff, but apparently not liberal enough

Has anyone told NL about the sleeping pill yet? You can use it to activate the faint abilities of animals in the shop, which can be useful to buff your other units if you were going to sell the faint-unit anyway.
Oh, and unlike in battle, these buffs are permanent

There's a ton of strategies during the shopping phase, too.
For example, the Dog buffs itself on a friend spawn/purchase. If you have two of one animal in the shop, it's better to buy each separately then stack them for XP. Stacking straight away means the Dog misses out on a buff. Same goes for the Horse. Buying two of one animal separately makes the horse buff each, then when they stack they'll be stronger (I think stacking gives half stats).
Using the tranquilizer pill on a Sheep during shopping will buff the Dog/Shark three times (once on purchase, then twice when the Sheep spawns two Rams).
You can also tranquilize the Spider during spawn early game to get a Tier 3 sooner, etc.
tranquilizer on turtle early is good too for the melon armor
The mosquito sniped a dog with melon armor and he said "bad snipe mosquito". Really shows how far the egg has gotten better

some tech you may have heard already - when you level up a unit, the unit that gets added to the shop is always a tier higher than the one youre on.
so if you wait to level up your unit until round 3 (when tier 2 animals first show up) you can get an early tier 3 unit and pop off

If you have a free space, always drop your animal in there first so it gets all buffs from the horse. So many crickets and otters missing bonus stats in that 3rd game.
Any armor is Melon Armor when Enelle uses it.

A good thing to remember: effects that trigger during combat are temporary, while effects that trigger in the shop are permanent. So, if I use a sleeping pill to make an ant faint in the shop, it will permanently buff an ally which can be a useful trick at times
not all effects triggering in shop are permanent though, like horse buffing after every spawn doesnt persist across turns

I bought the expansion pack. It isn't really better than the base pack. It has a lot of animals that give stats between rounds and access to Weakness, which makes animals with it take 5 extra damage. It's fun and has a different playstyle that's less direct. But, the base pack is probably better.
The t-rex in the expansion pack can get crazy, though.
Super Auto Pets content is like mashing buttons randomly on a NorthernLion soundboard. Juice me Squeeze me, inch by inch row by row, yo ox lemme get a... And I love it.

@@JaxonUm it makes the whale eat two people in front so you need to position correctly. But then it makes the whale spit out two mammoths and it then also doubles the stat gain when the second mammoth dies

You’re missing a lot of buffs by merging animals in a horse build without placing them on an empty slot first. If you are planning to sell, sell first, then place the animal on the board so it get’s buffed by the horse and then merge it afterwards.
That doesnt do anything, +1 xp is +1/+1 stats regardless of the buffs
If he'd placed the parrot between the tiger and the snake in the end, he'd have had the triple snake shot!
