      Hi Chandni, firstly I am sorry for the delayed reply.
      From what you have written, I understand that your water quality is very soft. You have not mentioned as to which program gives you soapy vessels. Is it in any particular program or all of them?
      I hope you have adjusted your salt and rinse aid levels based on your water hardness. If not reduce the levels.
      Also, you could try reducing the detergent quantity as compared to what you are using. Use the quantity based on the number and degree of soiled utensils in the wash load.
      In case, this happens in shorter program cycles, try switching over to longer programs which have better rinsing.
      Hope this helps. Thanks.

    Bhuvana madam, I purchased voltas beko 8 plate washing machine. Voltas people told me to buy "Finish" brand detergent, salt and Shiner. I purchased accordingly, but mechanic who came for demo says they will stain the washer and vessels with white patches and he told me to purchase Vim products only. What is your experience?

    • @BhuvanaAdi
      @BhuvanaAdi  2 роки тому

      Hi, you can decide on the detergents and other consumables like rinse aid and salt based on your water hardness.
      First thing to be done is to adjust salt and rinse aid settings in your machine based on your water hardness.
      If your water is soft, medium soft then Finish products are very good.
      But if you have hard to very hard water in your locality you can go for Fortune or Vim products.
      You can use them one by one and finally stick to the one which gives you best results.
      I've uploaded videos as a playlist, on how good are the various detergents in my machine. You can watch those videos to get an idea.

    Can we use eco+verio speed option in regular basis? Or when we are in hurry? Doesn't it make load on motor?

    • @BhuvanaAdi
      @BhuvanaAdi  3 роки тому

      Hi Purvi, you can use Eco Vario regularly, but water and power consumption will be more as the dishes are cleaned in less (almost half) time than the normal Eco cycle. I don't think this will cause any load on motor.
      Btw, do not go by the time duration of the Eco cycle, though it takes almost 3 hours, it consumes least water and power, yet giving very good cleaning results.
      Yes you can use Vario option, whenever you want to finish the dishes faster.

      To go in for fully integrated model or free standing model is based on one's choice and requirement. Freestanding will cost considerably less than fully integrated. Lots of people are using fully integrated models to complement their modular kitchen. If the installation is done professionally, there is no risk of leakages. Thanks.

      Hi Marigold, sorry for the delayed reply. I would advise washing aluminium only if your water is soft. And use low temp cycle upto 50 deg C only. You could try Bosch detergent. If your aluminium is getting black or discoloured, then I would suggest you stop washing aluminium in dishwasher. If your water si soft and you get good cleaning, you can even use Finish. Thanks.

      Yes based on what cleaning I got, I found the results quite good and I would definitely recommend it. See the photos at the end of this video which is from a friend who has hard water. Finish did not get good results for her. I bought 1kg of this detergent for ₹425 and I use roughly 15-20 g depending on cycle. So you can calculate cost per cycle from that. It could be anywhere between ₹8-₹10.

    • @BhuvanaAdi
      @BhuvanaAdi  2 роки тому +2

      @@currycurry-byshahin4191 Since you're using RO, looks like your water must be hard. In any case try to get your water tested for hardness(Calcium and Magnesium in water), from a water testing laboratory.
      I told in many of my replies to queries that Finish is more suited soft to medium hard water. For very hard water Fortune gives good cleaning results.
      Also try keeping the setting based on your water hardness. In your case, keep the salt setting in H4.
      Don't keep changing the setting every now and then. You will not be able to find out the results that way.
      Try running the machine in one setting for at least a week to understand what results you get. If you are not satisfied, then try changing the setting.

      Hi Abushek, sorry to learn about your problem. To the best of my knowledge, this happens in certain type of SS utensils like cookers, kadais, casseroles etc. The rainbow colour occurs when these utensils are used for cooking that involves high heat and longer duration. i have noticed this occasionally in my cooker and casseroles. But there is no cause for concern as this will not damage or affect the utensil or your cooking.
      Also it is not a permanent change.
      It goes off when you wash it in water or in diluted vinegar.
      Alternatively, you can try washing these dishes in low temperature cycles, preferably Eco cycle.
      Also, while cooking maintain low to medium heat while using these triply cookware.
      I am sure your problem should get solved. Good luck.
      Please write to me after you solve this or even if the problem persists.

    • @BhuvanaAdi
      @BhuvanaAdi  3 роки тому

      No washing aluminium in dishwashers is not recommended by the manufacturers, as it will blacken.
      But I've done this only in the short cycle which has temperature less than 50 deg C.
      It's long (5-6 years) since I've moved from using aluminium to stainless steel, especially regular cookware like cookers and kadais.
      I hardly have very few aluminium left with me.
      Here I wanted to show how the cleaning of aluminium is using Vim detergent, just like I've done in my earlier videos using other detergents.

      Hi Mallika, mine is a 10&1/2 year old model SMS40M52EU.
      In my machine vario speed means Half the time of the program selected.
      In subsequent models, they introduced Vario eco which means the opposite. Here water and power consumption are reduced, but the running time is increased for better cleaning results.
      3&1/2 hours consumes less power and water. It is vario eco and not vario speed like in my model.

Since last 3 times, I noticed that in Quick cycle which normally lasts for 29 min, once the timer comes to 16min, after a min. or so it switches back to 18 min instead of 15min. after which it displays 17,16,15 & so on till 3. Once it reaches 3 min, after a minute, it directly displays 0 minutes instead of 2,1,0. I don’t know if it was always like this since I accidentally happened to notice this. Thanks for sharing your opinion. As per my experience of over 10 years of using a dishwasher, good quality heat resistant plastic can be safely washed in it. Definitely cast iron and anodised cookware should be avoided, as in the long run it becomes unsafe to use for cooking as the coating on the anodised cookware will wear off.
      The cooker lids, gaskets and whistles(weight) are all vvv safe to be washed in a dishwasher. I've been doing it since ten years without causing any damage to them.
