Range Rover Velar is 10 times better than Q8. Be it with Dimensions, Looks anything. Though Volvo XC90 T8 stands on 1st in the list. Don't know why you aren't considering the Volvo.
Velar is nearly 200 mm shorter than q8, it doesn't even comes with 3 litre engine which is a shame for nearly 1 crore price tag. It has 135 bhp less than q8, Audi q8 has much more space and comfort than velar. Land Rovers are not very much trusted in terms of reliability. And even volvo comes with a 2 litre engine. Volvo has very poor reputation in terms after sales service. Audi's resale value is much more than volvo and land Rover. So there is no point even considering velar and xc90. And one more thing if you want to enjoy driving then nothing drives better than a German.
It is extremely powerful and it has a blisterring driving pleasure. If you want a more sportier SUV I think you should look forward to the URUS but I suggest you shouldgo for Porsche Cayenne GT Turbo e-hybrid if you want the ultimate driving pleasure.

In terms of driving dynamics and going off road or any terrain for that matter with a great towing capacity too, Velar is a great choice. There’s a reason why Range Rover makes SUVs only. I don’t think the 2L will ever feel underpowered anytime. Otherwise BMW X7 is there for a sharp driving performance with luxury, GLS is pure sheer luxury, XC-90 and Cayenne are also great choices. Q8 is also a good choice but as we know Audi is a mid between luxury and performance, it’s not upto that mark for a driving enthusiast.
Q8 is a high performance car,If u want to use the power then go for it.But it doesnt fell like suv and u r have audi now its better to consider a different brand.GLS its for just comfort but X7 gives u both.
Just Check out Volvo XC90 once. It's 2L twin turbo is amazing or even you can buy the HYBRID model . And it also has great handling ..Even it's huge in dimensions like GLS. And obviously it's the Safest in the Segment....
