- Rebuilding my 2024 BMW M4 after a terrible crash with a giant deer a couple of weeks ago but thankfully everyone was ok including the deer (I think).
This is my first rebuild series so please bare with me as this is something new and I am working with the body shop to get footage of things during the process so, hopefully you guys enjoy seeing this beast come back to life!!!

Will, those are your parts, don't ever let a body shop tell you otherwise. You own them, they do not. I have been keeping my parts for years whenever I get repairs or work done to my vehicles. If a body shop does not agree to do what you have asked, that's when you find one that will. You know you are in good hands when they communicate the progress to you, let you be involved and allow you to keep your old parts. I look forward to seeing the new updates on this car. Those deer are no joke. It's nothing you can do when they're ready to cross the road. In daylight or nighttime.
Good things always come to those who wait, it's going to be BANGING once they finish can't wait to see the final product.
The lite bronze wheel look better than the silver wheels my Opinion had more of a racing look to it.

Will whenever I go on a road trip I always leave at midnight or 1am in the morning It's just one of those moments that happen I'm glad you are okay. Advice for people if you hit a deer keep your steering wheel straight don't turn your wheel at all so when you brake hard the car will stay straight and you won't end up hitting something else

Did the deer at least die? Wow! it tore the hood up! I have a lot of deer near me. Especially, on the back roads. I was approaching a curve and something told me to slow down. As I came around the curve, there were about ten deer standing in the middle of the road. There would have been no time to stop if I had slowed down.

You're lucky that deer didn't go through the windshield and in your lap. Deer are terrible here in Eastern North Carolina especially during a full moon.
Pretty sure it was a full moon when I left that night too.

Front is fine if you just change the grill especially with darker colored cars. Adro is cool but doesn’t have that bmw vibe. Seems more like an Audi front

Bruh.. Hitting that deer was not your fault! Don't beat yourself up.. I found myself doing the same thing. That is not a mistake on your part! The deer I just hit a few weeks ago was at 3:50pm in broad day light! These animals don't care what time of the day it is when they decide to dart across the road. When I take long road trips, I like to leave at midnight when there are less drivers on the road. So again there is no lesson to be taught here. SHIT happens.. period!
