I agree with you. But the game can’t even handle 1v1 properly at the moment. Keeps crashing or lagging if you have more then a couple triggers. I really want to know how to build a deck... I know the basics, played the game on arena tested the decks given by the arena but just want to become better in deck building. Can you help me on that ?
Ive worked in a couple stores, and I gotta say. Deck building is tough! Heres some stuff that can help: 1) Look up some decks to test out. Knowing why a deck is good helps you build your own! 2) Draft, draft, draft. This format is allll about deck building on the fly. Playing draft is a surefire way to get good at deck construction fast. 3) Pre release / sealed. This format also helps a ton with learning how to build decks. Hope that helps
@@108108qwerty Hey I knew these stuff but thanks ! I'm becoming better at it but not yet mastered it. So I need some advice to build better. Also started from the basics always helps.
@@brightnemesis9831 Oh nice! If you have those basics down, Id focus on threat assesment in game. Knowing what is actually the problem can help you prepare in the future. Also, get good at sideboarding and mulligans. That really helps out your strategy.
Tip, keep it simple with 24 lands. But check your costs and colours of each cards For example two colours cards, mono and several colours have a mana simbol, add every each of them to check which is the most dominant colour. Let's say that you run a black/blue mill deck. Usually most of the cards will be mono blue, some will be mono black, and you could have cards with both colours So in this therms you can separate your mana U= blue B= black UB= blue and black, aka the Dimir colour combo. 36 cards of spells, from those you have 18 of blue 6 blacks and 12 black and blue. So you separate the mana of the black and blue cards and add them to the respective colour top. In this example we will imagine that you run black cards, and blue cards that cost one mana to cast them. The values will be differentiated depending of the mana cost of your cards. That would be 24 blue cards, and 12 black cards If 36 is 100%, 66.66% of the cards are blue and 33.34% are black. You will need to distribute the 24 lands between so you can play this percentage of cards. 66.66% of 24 would be 15.99 blue lands, we can round up the number to 16, so the number of black lands could be 8. Also take in consideration that basic lands can generate only one type of mana. Shock lands, bounce lands and different types of lands can help you to generate either black or blue on the same card.
also, use sparky for testing at frst. it's not an issue at this stage for the deck to be bloated. use the testing to see what is really needed. after this initial cut with sparky, use the "play" option to test it out more
I was super exited to try the new historic brawl games on mtga and then I saw the prices of gems to acquire packs to get the wild cards I needed... what on earth?! This is one of the most predatory economies I have seen in a game.
Never spend gems on packs. Use coins. Gems are better spent on mastery passes, drafts and card bundles. If you want to purchase packs, you can do so for 1000 coins, one at a time. Not a perfect, or even great, solution by any means; but at least it's better than nothing.
Truthfully I like how they made this simple tutorial, if you explain too much early it can put off a player.
