Thank you for the coverage! It's nice to see some disc golf again. I liked the format. Having some commentary with a mic'd player on the card was a unique touch that I would gladly watch again.
I think everybody that plays on coverage should take notes from all of these people giving each other s*** it's so much fun. I just drove by my boss and told him to get bent! These videos are motivational😂😂
Need more holes like #19, par 3 227ft on tour! (I knew it was under 10 birdies as soon as I seen the hole) Also, more coverage of Mic'd up players on lead or chase card even! Great Video, keep up the good work Ace Run Productions!
As a local player, hole 12 is a risky hole to ace run just because of the short boundary behind the basket. My goal is 1. Get over the water and 2. Get within 15ft 😂
Interesting to be able to hear the thoughts of a struggling tour player as he’s playing mid level golf on a highly skilled card. I wonder if being mic’d up actually distracts him from being able to focus on his game as he tries provide humor. Great coverage and looking forward to the next round.
Blown away with how many like the mic up player - to me the constant self commentary and side comments on every hole made it feel like an ma3 experience. Am i alone or was it annoying and childish? If someone was making fart noises when i was on the tee id definitely be saying something...
Omg! Please…NO Melton! He’s just an immature has been of a disc golfer! Good thing…I know I wont see him 2nd round, as he’ll never make a lead card in an A tier.
Is this a serious tournament? I ask this because if it is, I would be pissed if all I heard all round was Zack talking and thinking he was funny razzing everyone else on the card. Am I the only one who found him to be annoying? Side note.....those who dont really watch disc golf and tune into this coverage, would absolutely not take this sport seriously whatsoever when you have someone on the mic who 1, is not funny...and 2, playing like sh*t.
it's a sanctioned PDGA B-tier. It was awesome to have top level pros play it. It is unique because most high level pros won't play B-tiers but many come and play our awesome (wet) courses as a warmup for the upcoming tour. Zach is a great guy and his commentary is clearly amplified and not really heard by other players during the round unless he is speaking directly to them. I've been around him during rounds at past Sav Opens (he has played almost all of them) and he is a positive player who most others love playing with. His humor isn't for everyone, and that's fine. Zach didn't play to the caliber of the other 3 guys on the card nor did he play close to his potential but if people are watching B-tier tournament coverage of disc golf and expecting an atmosphere like the Masters, they are expecting the wrong thing.

And just to clarify, im not saying hes not good at disc golf....he obv is....but I think he tried to be more of a comedian since he was on the mic than a disc golfer, hence his poor play......ive also seen him on Skins matches and he has the same comedic stance and does pretty poorly. The silver lining was that he was off the lead card for coverage for the later rounds and most of us could actually be fully engaged and follow the action without interruption. @@rha01l

I agree…he ruined it for me. Just not the tournament to listen to him try to cut up. I muted the rest of the coverage..

I did no like the mic-ed up player. Very annoying random comments and noises.
