The F1 Trombone gig bag is the perfect bag for a gigging musician who want to carry their instrument without compromising its safety. This bag is lightweight and ergonomically designed and incorporates our unique "Fuse-on" system, whereby a separate range of accessory bags can quickly and easily fit onto the main instrument bag.
Tough on the outside
Constructed with robust water resistant rip-stop material, the Fusion F1 Trombone bag offers extreme resistance to scuffs and abrasions. With rubber handles and zip pulls, a robust molded base and a hardwearing finish, the Fusion F1 Premium gig bag is designed to last. They are cool and fashionable too, available in four colours with commuter friendly reflective panels and print. The rear of the bag boasts Fusion's own "Flow-System" similar to that of a hiker's backpack which makes the bag really comfortable to carry, preventing you from getting hot when its on your back.
Safe on the inside
With an inner shell of 30 mm (1.5 inch) high density lightweight foam and a soft non-scratch, non-fibrous velvet lining, your Trombone will be very well protected giving your most important possession the 5 star treatment.
Pockets Galore!
You will never be short of space for your accessories with the three spacious pockets at the front of the bag. They are large enough to carry A4 sheet music, pencils, mouthpieces and any additional belongings that you might need. The largest of the pockets holds a removable rigid slide pouch and if you want extra space to carry more gear, spare clothing or even your laptop, just "Fuse-on" with our line of accessory bags.
Fuse-on
The Fuse-on concept has been developed for musicians who need some extra storage space to carry additional accessories when carrying their instruments. With the Fuse-on system you have the possibility to strap a "Fuse-on" bags onto the main instrument bag. The attachment bags can be fixed with four strong velcro straps to the front of the bag. This is ideal if you have additional accessories or equipment that you want to transport.
Flow-System
The "Flow-System" is a backpack system with lumbar supports providing extra comfort and preventing you from getting hot whilst carrying your gig bag.

I'm kind of absent minded when it comes to slide cream and water bottles, lights, pencils, etcetera. Not any longer. I carry sheet music, a 10" iPad, a folding music stand, a practice mute (and of course a trombone) in the Fusion Urban bag. It's just an excellent bag.

I have a Fusion bag for my older King trombone and I love it. There is plenty of room for my music, mouthpieces, trombotine, mouthpiece brush, pencils, etc. It is less bulky than a hard case but seems just as secure and safe. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a secure gig bag for their trombone.

i can see this company maybe expanding onto custom bags to fit specific equipment inventory, lot of OCD musicians like myself like to have specific needs fulfilled, hope maybe in a few years to see this with fusion bags as i have the F1 electric guitar bag with both attatchment bags and i have never been let down by these products

You are the first person to suggest a Trombone bag on wheels to us. Anybody out there who would want the same? If you do, let us know. At the moment we have no plans to introduce a wheelie bag but if there is a huge demand for it, this might change...

Thank you for your constructive comments hopefully based on the fact that you have tried and tested Fusion bags. Thankfully there are different companies who offer different products so that musicians have a choice. Some will love Fusion, some will not. Some will love Marcus Bona, some will not. That is the variety of life which can only be a good thing.
@nospohtj You will not be able to fit these items in the front pocket of the trombone gig bag. However, we do make an accessory bag that can be attached to the front of the trombone bag called "Workstation Courier" and it will be big enough to hold your wireless system but not your music stand. - Please check the dimension of your wireless system against that of our bag

Your music folder will be too big for the pockets but I suggest that you think about our laptop backpack which can fuse onto the front of the bag (see link above in description).
The internal measurements of this bag are: 450 x 270 x 70mm (17.7 x 10.6 x 2.76”). Our bags do have a small amount of “give” and could fit your folder inside, maybe you could try this bag for size at a store prior to purchase
Omg! I was hoping to have one for my Bass Trombone for college as I go this September and I am sure I am not the only one! When you do make the Bass Trombone gig bags are they going to be available in different colours as well?

Looks like a great design. I am a professional trombonist who commutes on transit every day, and this bag looks perfect! One question: will one of the pockets hold my wireless system case (12" by 12" by 2")? How about a music stand that is 24" by 4" by 4" when folded?

I own this gig bag. It's all good and everything, light and comfortable to carry around. But there is no way you can fit in that music stand when the instrument and slide is all locked in.
Buyers shouldn't think of the pockets to be legit full sized compartments coz the slide comb sticks out and stretch them. However, I have easily managed to shove a wallet, small marching music stand, hat (laid flat), gloves, mouthpiece, kindle reader, phone, spray bottle and lubricants, with still more rooms.

Errr, trombone case with wheels..... Sure if you have a hunchback or health problems then wanting one is quite understandable, but the PBone exists for that. Most trombonists tend to be cool dudes and would not be seen dead with a wheely case.

You will have to check with your airline and how they deal with instruments. The bag should fit inside most overhead compartments but if the airlines let's you take the trombone on board depends a lot on the company...

This bag is too large and you have to open it completly to get it out. gig bags are meant to be easy and quick why would i want to take that hasle

Wow.. -.- again a trombone bag of the size og a small Van ... Just go make a small and pratical bag with a pocket inside for 1-2 mouthpieces and some slidegrease.... And dont Come and say you Can hve ur mutes in that bag. None of ny bas's trombone mutes Will fit. Just Buy a Marcus bona case. They are small, good, hard practical!! We dont nede that large bags!! Sorry if i find ny comment negative.. But i wamt a bag thats light so my back doesnt screw up at age 20
