Helmet quality comes first for me: I was t-boned by a car at an intersection last December, hit hard enough to knocked unconscious, but escaped serious injury, thanks in part to wearing good gear, including helmet, an HJC RPHA 70 ST, which not only costs considerably less than the Stryker (and has an ECE rating to boot), but when I replaced the helmet (with the same model), I was able to transfer the comm unit I'd installed in the previous lid (Cardo Packtalk Slim) without a problem. "One-and-done" helmet/comm systems are cool in theory, but to me that's where it pretty much ends.
Well Said, and very good point with transferring your blue tooth system bro, glad your ok...got rear-ended myself at a red-light of all places, no drivers are everywhere.
this helmet is so similar to my HJC i10. for anybody looking, its been great to me.
Love it this Lid rocks 🤟I'm in Florida where most ride with no lid and this protection is much needed and appreciated

The fact that a pinlock is not standard in any motorcycle helmet is a fucking crime against motorcycle riders every where NEXT
I might be wrong, but I believe the Shoei RF-1400 comes standard with pin lock.

I was really looking forward for the helmet because of the integrated audio system from harman kardon. All coms I've tested so far might give you a decent sound but thats it. Was hoping for a helmet which brings good audio quality to the market. However the build quality of the helmet looks like they cheaped out on every possible part.

Just bought one June 2024. It's ece rated.
5:31 Yes similar to MAC and Apple in the sense that its a proprietary plug (not so much now as you can get an apple lightening cable anywhere now) but with this helmet, IF you lost, or say your dog or kitten decided to use that cord as a chew toy, you are stuck contacting that company for the cable. If they had just used a universal type C cable then you would have one laying around your house already... This takes extra time and induces extra cost needlessly.
5:57 Also gets you one more adapter and plug or cable you ahve to carry.... When your phone likely already has a type c cable.. unless you are an apple fool.
Thanks for the review, I was waiting to get one of these, I thought they upgraded to DOT and ECE rating on these, and I like to ride with the visor cracked a little around town for airflow.. now I'm not sure whether to get one..
They have. I picked mine up a little over a week ago and it has the ECE R 22-05 sticker on it and some websites are starting to be updated to include the ECE rating.
They are ECE rating as well. I had to double check mine after hearing him say it is not ECE rated lol.

@@rbta2191 Does it have the ECE sticker on the chin strap as well (usually looks like E-then a number) because that is the real ECE approval cert and not the back of the helmet.

DOT only? What is the advantage of making a full face DOT only full face helmet?
I returned this helmet the speakers would pop and crackle no mater how i would put the audio setting at
Stryker stopped charging after 1.2 update. İm trying 2 days for charging....
I bought one, The sound is great however the wind flow over the helmet is terrible. the noise is 10 times worse than my HJC helmet over 50 mph
Anyone have a charging problem, i have some problem, wait on charger 12 14 hours but i see on sena app not full charging.
Nope. A good helmet with a cardo is a far superior. Sean is doing all this because they cant beat Cardo
not really. had 2 cardos before. never again. only problems all the time. made the switch to sena and didn't have a single problem in over 2 years

Honestly the US helmet market is slightly fucked... if you look at Fortnine's video on helmet safety rating standards, you can see that both North American standards are leagues behind ECE 22.06

I would never buy a sena product again they do not back up there product if the product is discontinued you can not get parts
