Oh Susan what a difference that made in your window. I love all your flowers. Thank you for sharing this with us. So until next time God Bless you and Todd and have a Blessed Sunday and stay safe my dear and Special Friends. ❤❤❤
I really love that shelf over your window and sink . I have done the fabric with safety pins on rods before to keep from pulling out my sowing machine it works ❤
Love this idea with the shelf! I love hot you decorated it with the bowls and plants.. looks so pretty! And I really like the little curtains too! I enjoyed, thanks for sharing😊
I will now be changing the trim around my window so that I can put up some brackets. I’ve wanted a shelf there for awhile and I love the use of pretty brackets. LOVE how yours came out!!
What a delightful window! Vintage bowls with plants! Plus…vintage linens for window curtains! You are blessed to have a window over your kitchen sink! (My sink has a wall in front! Lol! But I’m still blessed too, in so many ways!). Love your channel Susan! Shari
Thanks for watching Shari !! Have you ever thought about putting a fake window there adding curtains on the side or a shelf at the bottom of the window. 🤔
I have been so excited to see you add the shelf to your window and this turned out so amazing, just like everything turns out that you do! All of the plants looked so real. I'm gonna have to do this to my kitchen window! Thank you for all of the beautiful inspiration. Love you dear friend!
i love how you do things for yourself without having to ask Todd to do it!! Also love how you used what you had to created perfect valances. Looks great!!
Love your window. I did the same thing in my kitchen. It is so nice to be able to take the shelf down when needed. Your bowls are perfect up there and your plant is going to love the light. I enjoy your videos so much.
Susan, your window looks like it is like mine. You should be able to pull you top window down and fold it towards you likd the bottom one. You first need to open your bottom window competely open. Then pull your top window down. There should be some small release buttons at the top. Once you pull it down you can open it towards you like the bottom one and wash the outside like you did the bottom one. Hope this helps
Susan, the shelf is a wonderful addition & the bowls, plants are perfect! I like the idea of using old jar w a pump for soap by the sink. I'm going to do both to my kitchen window😃. Ty for sharing & inspiring!
I love that window shelf ❤ and I love how you displayed those bowls with the plants what a great idea love how the curtains came out too such a transformation
Susan, I love the shelf above the sink and the bowls are perfect there. Have you ever used Sprayaway window cleaner,it’s in an aerosol can? It’s a lot better than windex and it doesn’t smear.
Good morning sweet friend 😊 you done a fantastic job the shelf look great & adding plants to the bowl’s perfect 😊 you done exactly the same thing I did w/my kitchen curtain I used ticking material coffee stained it then my husband took a blow torch & lightly burned some areas lol I’m like you if I get a vision I get it done lol 1 way or another, I went to 2 estate sales yesterday & I scored I got 2 Childs sock stretchers for 10 bucks I thought of you the wood is beautiful & scored chunky butter pats & ironstone pc’s it tickled my❤ anyway your kitchen looks great your home is beautiful the primitives have my ❤ I’ll probably never change but I have to have original pc’s old as the hills lol my husband tells ppl if it’s not old or rusty she doesn’t want it 😂 have a Blessed wk sweet friend thank goodness the time changed 😊
LOVE THE SHELF!!! I’ve been wondering if you were still going to do it lol. Susan, you need you’re own reality home improvement tv show 😂😂😂 your curtains turned out so good and I love how everything looks! ❤
Hi Susan, I love how your shelf looks, the curtains look nice also. I once used safety pins to tack up a hem on a shirt till I had time to mend the hem. Have a wonderful weekend.
I love the window, and the valances. Those bowls look so good up there. I was on my ladder yesterday over my sink, my husband doesn't like me on it at all. He bought it for me to use around the house, but doesn't want me on it. lol He'd rather I only use it when he's home. I can't wait on that. I'm sure you understand. Thanks Susan. Another great project.
Oh my God am I chuckling with this one😂. I have the exact window over my sink, a horrible glare, especially when washing dishes that makes me crazy, same ladder and at 65 and 4’10”, the struggle is real. I hesitate to stand in the sink and end up down the drain in the basement but too short to reach across. After four total knee replacements, this old body doesn’t cooperate with the ideas in my head. I love how this turned out. Say a prayer, cross your fingers and going to give it a try! I used the pint size mason jars, pump top for hand soap and dish soap and put vintage labels on them Debby, upstate New York
