In this video, my brother and I delve into the world of K-pop as we react to Stray Kids "Freeze" and "Venom", along with Seventeen's "Hit", "Left and Right" & "_World." While my brother is relatively new to K-pop, having only experienced it in another video we recorded together, I'm eager to see his reaction and hopefully ignite his interest in this genre as much as mine. I think your brother is into the signature seventeen sound more than the darker concepts. Like god of music, home run, or even adore u is more distinctly funky-pop-y i guess 😅

They have songs that include more rap: Muddy Water, The tortoise and the hare, maze of memories, Topline, Scene Stealers, p.a.c.e, Nxt 2 U, Easy.
Loudest songs: Thunderous, God's Menu, Christmas EveL, Back Door, Side Effects, Maniac, My Pace.
And electronic music: Hellevator, District 9, Miroh, Voices, Question, Scars, Double Knot, Boxer.
Just so you know. We as your watchers don't care if there's a long video 😂 it means we get to see you watch more of what we love. Obviously, it's different if YOU need the video to be short cause you're pressed for time, but so you know we love it.
I think your brother would love the older SVT songs like Pretty U , Snapshoot , Oh My , Beautiful , Still Lonely, Very Nice , Out dawn is hotter than day and especially LUKCY!! I think he will love Lucky, God of music too ( they are songs where all 13 of them have parts) but there are some unit songs he might like , like Change Up. From Enhypen (if you do one) try 10 Months , Not for Sale , Polaroid love , TFW , Orange Flower(especially this song) and maybe Paradoxx Invasion. One and only is also good! One of my favourite things about skz is that they let there natural voices be in songs instead of forcing there songs to flow. And they all end up going together ,and when all of there different voices are in one song it sounds amazing and they start they make there own songs so they can do whatever they want

Freeze is an uplifting song that encourage listeners to break free from and taking control of oneself in the face pressure and expectations. Stray Kids trying to take down a group of gangsters. Stray Kids found a lab full of chemicals belongs to gangsters, they burnt it down. But their a twist. I.N who's a member of Stray Kids, took the gun that was left on table because I.N is the gangsters boss disgusted as a Stray Kids members. Stray Kids give clues throughout or toward end of their music videos at times.

People need to watch the intro of each album to know how they come up with the idea and concept and meaning behind the song and all details and work they do on every song.

For StrayKids, I'd recommend letting him listen to CHILL, Red Lights (maybe iffy, but its a banger), Charmer, There, Collision, DLC, and Leave. They are not as intense or 'different' as some of the ones he's listened to, they have easy to follow rhythms and melodies and show some diversity in their sound.
For Seventeen I'd recommend Fallin' Flower (how can you NOT like this song?!), Ima - Even if the world ends tomorrow, god of music, Darl+ing, Kidult, Our Dawn is Hotter Than Day, Flower (maybe iffy, but I love it lol) and Adore U is still one of my favorite songs by them even if its their debut song (its so catchy!)
He may or may not like them, who knows, but based off the type of songs he's liked so far, this is what I would go with next. At the end of the day, if he doesn't like them all that much then no harm no foul. Kpop and music is diverse for a reason, you like some songs or artists more than others and that's okay. Love your videos with him though, they are still fun to watch ☺
you should ask what kind of music he usually listens to and go based off of that. kpop isn’t a genre, it’s an industry, so whatever he’s into there’s probably someone or many someones that have made a sound he like in kpop.

I think the SVT vibe your brother likes is the closed to their original vibe and also their first engkish song! That is Darling you should go with that one first and then maybe God Of Music and My My (the dancepractice for this is so much fun btw it has so many choreography parts that look like film sequences because their use their bodys as probs)

it might seem like a struggle because he has a particular style of music he likes. BUT WE KNOW THERE ARE SONGS OUT THERE HE'S GONNA LIKE. kpop is such a vast genre its sometimes hard to find your faves, but I see this as a fun challenge for us to find the right songs for him. I actually love that he is playing hard-to-get with us
They can usually learn dances in 24 hours like intensely all day and into the night and another day or two perfecting the details 🫶🏾

so at 18:14, seventeen said it usually takes them around 2 days of practice to learn a new choreo, but in their earlier days it was a lot longer. seventeen is actually the most synchronized boy group according to a computer algorithm that compared all the members against each other.
since your brother seems to prefer freshteen, i'd reccomend god of music, pretty you, oh my, adore you (please not the music video tho it's so saddening). I'd also reccomend a live performance of kidult, just so he can hear the stellar vocals!

My favorite Seventeen song is the leaders' Change up, it's on the groovier side. Also I think your brother might enjoy the group KARD, they are a criminally underrated coed group. Their discography has a variety of sounds, but I really enjoy Oh Nana which has a more tropical vibe to it.
I became a STAY because they are different, they are the NOISY in kpop.
You should show him TXT and Enhypen, those are usually the groups girl group stans like😸 Their dischographies are insane so it's hard to recommend just a few songs but if I were to mention some then for TXT I would say:

For Enhypen I would recommend:
- Sweet Venom
- Sacrafice (eat me up)
- Fever or drunk dazed
- Still monster (except there's no mv so maybe watch the live video they did on the channel "it's Live"?)
For dance practices I would 100% recommend Enhypen! There really synchronized and have many interesting movements! I would recommend pass the mic, paradoxx invasion, bite me, and drunk dazed! If you want to react to there music, I think your brother would like that feeling when, bite me, and still monster!💗💗

There are many cheerful and soft Seventeen songs, like Pretty u, Very nice, Darl+ing, Oh my and lately song Cheers to youth

Based on his comments, he prefers "sing-song-y" songs, more pop genre. So for Stray Kids you have to carefully select the more melodic ones. Their very last one, Lose My Breath could appeal to him, bit make sure to watch the "Stray Kids version" (either dance performance or the live version). Leave is another good one, or DLC and FNF.

seventeen debut on 26 May 2015 & have 13 members. So, it's been 9 years already they in industry. seventeen have 13 members. they consist 3 units which is(hip hop unit, performance unit, vocal unit). every unit had their own leader. also there is a meaning behind it. 13(members) + 3 unit + 1 team = 17.
since from their trainee days till now, they have been producing, composing, lyricist and choreographing their own music. they can bring variety of genre in every single release/album. from fun/catchy, darker/intense, high energy dance songs, softer ballad-y songs. Literally anything you want seventeen has done it and done it amazingly
They have some of THE MOST difficult choreos in ALL of music performances, and they call as the most synchronization group performance. the theater kids of k-pop & kpop performance powerhouse. if you watch their live performance, you will understand it
13 members is that they ALL can sing, rap and dance. they prove this in some of their live performances. They swap songs, i.e. the
Hip Hop team can do the Performance team's most difficult contemporary art dance; the Performance team swap song with the Vocal team also the Hip Hop team can do it, too, they can do all the highest notes.
and the Vocal team can rap AND dance as great as the Performance team. They're ALL amazingly talented & every single one is an all rounder!
