No matter how precise our measurement tools may be, there will always be a little more room to be even closer to the right answer. How do we account for this gap between the true value of a dimension and the measured value we can obtain?

As a professor of manufacturing teaching metrology I find these video quite useful, there is always uncertainty in any measurement but if it meets design tolerances/specifications that's what matters. No such thing as perfect, great video series.
