Absoutely the best way to show this kind of climbing. All the other holds make it difficult to pick out routes on little screens, the commentary is a huge help, and having two views just makes this video perfect!
This is one of the best gym climbing videos I've seen. The simultaneous two angles are really great for getting a sense of the steepness of the problem. And the problems themselves were very neat!
i've been yelling at my screen at every ifsc comp for a view of the entire wall when someone is climbing, and nothing has happened yet. the side by side in this video is excellent. hope the ifsc sees this.
@@chaosengine4597 He literally has like 40 8B boulders outside and managed to climb an 8B+ boulder in two hours, how could that possibly be at the top of his CV. What a dumb shit to say. He's one of my favorite climbers actually.
@@kubaskoupy you don't find a joke if it hits you in the face, right? Just calm down a bit. And thank you for pointing out that the route setter is a great climber as well (as most good setters are, in all reality).
This guy is the world's best at bouldering and lead. He should be forced to learn speed climbing which is a completely different sport that no one does in common with the others.
And don't know how you find these amazing filming crews, but I know you should do everything you can to keep them! Outstanding productions in every video 👏
I’m not sure there is any reason for him to go. While it would be beautiful for us fans. He already knew about the book opener over 2 years ago and on a much larger scale than we’ve ever seen before. This would ultimately make Tom and Pete look foolish unless he were to pretend to be amazed by such shenanigans like the pleasure loop.
Think they’re more keen for shauna coxey to go down, they said they wanted it to be a nation effort so they wanna help the british climbers for the olympics
Seš naprosto úžasnej a děkuji ;-)
Love these videos! Will be watching the series on the run up to the Olympics 🤟🤟🤟🤟 I think if this music was on in my gym I'd feel like a legend climbing my v0-v3's 😅
I'm pretty comfortable making barely doable dynos 13m above the ground. Meanwhile I'm double checking every single step while climbing a ladder against a normal family home.
Even more impressive than the climbing is that one of the Stranik brothers is brushing holds for you. Man, if that shit happened to me, I'd feel like I was in an alternate fucking universe.
hey! you guys should post more slow motion video of similar boulder problems. it would look awesome, and help people see how you really did the climb at a deeper level.
was such a shame to see Adam fall like that in the lead final. honestly the whole innsbruck was kinda ruined by the rain, both lead and the bouldering Adam had a massive foot pop on what looked to be a great foot hold. None of the top qualified lead climbers did well, being that they went out later while it was raining.
@@F41LZZz yeah, also thought it was really stupid that athletes that compete in both lead and bouldering didn't have rest days ... how is that a fair competition ? no doping right ? but 1 day rest more than others is allowed ....
for the 2nd boulder, would it have been possible to jam the right forearm longways so the hand was on the finish and compressing the elbow into the 2nd to top hold instead of using the knee?
When competing you are awarded points as well when reaching this Zone hold. The number of Zone holds reached is used to differentiate 2 climbers that have the same number of routes topped, it could be the case for instance that 2 climbers both have topped 3 routes, but that one climber also reached the zone on the 4th route, which would make him the winner. If you top a route you automatically also get the zone hold awarded.
Loved the black/white route preview and the two different camera angles! More of this please :)

Totally agree
Cinematography, editing and narration all 10/10. The team behind Ondra really flexing here. Love it!

I'm completely new to bouldering and I was thinking the same thing 🙌🥰💪
8:47 That instant double heel lock to catch the swing was sickk
Every climbing video should have a side camera now, this is perfectly awesome.

That kneebar after the second dyno on the first boulder is 100% Adam!
Production quality was off the charts with this one, huge respect for the editor(s)
5:12 the smile of the route setter that made Adam struggle! :D
Nice content!
you have to understand. That man is done. "AO fall on a boulder I set" is at the top of his CV.

I like the double perspective so you can see the angle of the wall and holds more clearly. And a great way to convey the difficulty of the climbs.
Hope your shoulder recovery is going well! Can't wait for the Olympics!

nice video... love the two different shots at the same time... beast mode.
First time I've seen a dual camera view work! Really well done
Is that scar on his back from when he got hit by Azula mid avatar state?
Inspirational dude, your a beast.
Two camera angles on the same climber gives a very cool perspective of their body position. Would love to see that show up in IFSC content.
Come Trad some First Assents in Jersey, I'll pick you at the airport Adam. 👍
Good luck in the comp Adam! I will cheer for you
He is an absolute climbing beast
This was awesome! love comp simulations!
He has a combination of strength, reach and technique that is simply off the chart.
the good thing about adam is once he learns the route. he never forgets. doesn't matter how many time he would fall from above.
Very nice Video! Would love to see more of this
That is an exceptionally well made video! And of course nice content as well 😊

adam practicing his dynamic moves means its over for comps o.o
I like that Adam calls the first boulder lower difficulty when most people would not even be able to do the first movement
Wow! All sent? The setters might need to set something harder for Adam to train his bouldering on XD
8:58 a wild Rishat Khaibullin appears. Feel like he's genuinely a great shout for a medal at the Olympics.
I agree, and it shows how much their heart in the game. They train each other instead of being protective
