good vid, good to see all the little separate processes and less of the "heres one i did earlier" 👍✌️
Thank you 😁
3:28 glue probably because during mining boom,
when videocard placed vertically,
hot thermocompound and thermopaste flows into bottom, downwards to PCI-E slot,
shorting all chips like GPU and Memory, probably causing
warranty return
Thank you for sharing. Unless liquid metal other thermal paste or compound are not conductive. So that is not a cause of shorts. The idea of manufacturers to put glue at the bottom is to avoid pads getting ripped off or solder getting cracked. But the solution they are using is ineffective and only thing it does is making repair difficult.
@@GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7qlCan you make a video with your thoughts on liquid metal, good uses, bad uses and clean up if it spills on the dye. Stuff like that?
And the short is gone! magical😉👍
😁
Clearly board partners using this black goo do not understand what is happening here, which causes most memory related problems. They think that by adding some cheap glue around memory chips, it will prevent cracked joints or ripped pads. This is how out of touch they are when it comes to rework. So stupid. I hate those little SMD's around the memory, btw! What a pain in arse! Great video btw!
Yes the only thing it does is make repairs difficult. 😂
Great job!
Thank you.😁
good work
Thank you. Glad you like my videos. 😁
NITR0 Approved
Thank you bro
@@GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql you earned it
Excellent work! 👌. I am wondering, i won a auction for a Sapphire 5700 XT Nitro + Special Edition the other day for cheap, i knew that i was getting a card that does not work as it should, but though that i might be able to fix it or at least figure out what was wrong with it, also would be an upgrade from my Sapphire RX580 Nitro+. The seller had changed the thermal pads and paste but that did not fix the problem. The problem is that it (It also has a 3 way BIOS switch) at cold boot might (if lucky) get you as far as to windows log in but after that it freezes, after that it's just a quick boot screen or just a black screen with the RGB and fans on the card working hmmm. I have tried perhaps 90% of the fixes out there, not the 2x individual 8 pin power plugs though. The system i tested it in (650W, and not my main system) did only have a split 2X 8 pin. Grateful for some help on this one.
Feels like a dead core to me. I am certain that memory test will pass. You can try memory test first.
Super work.
Thank you 😁
Can you tell me which one program you use for testing amd vram please 🙏 I like your videos and I am subscribed, you really shareing a good knowledge here, thanks for video :) :)
Yes this one is memtune used for testing AMD GPUs. Remember tserver does not work with RX6000 and 7000 series.
@@GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql Thank you for reply, I will search on google and find, I need that test for rx 580 8 gb to fix
Thank you bro for information i will download it :)

Great job,1 video 1 like💪
Thank you for watching 😁
. . . Gigga Performance & expensive video card needs to be mounted with board on the bottom, with heat pipe UP; At this performance & prices, USER needs to be able to do the right thing and use a mount bracket and cable set up to mount card properly . . .
Thank you for sharing.
I had clients who build their own PC "because they are so smart" and thought that they don't need that weird thing they found in the box (anti-sag bracket) so they managed to damage their video card even if they had what it was needed in the box (instructions included).
@@Dandan-tg6tj Truly heartbreaking. . .
Many realise it only after it's too late.
I have to put my PC upside down to make sure video card is cooling properly . . .
75 ° C on fuzzy donut test. . .
how to use internal graphic ? in may case when I select igpu monitor blank after setting save..Please guide me Brother
I feel it could not be saving the settings. Is the CMOS battery charged?
@@GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql i did it because of you.i watch your shappire nitro video then I did same setting with my MB and Done :)
Thanks brother

thank you, do you have a patreon
No I don't. 😔Just UA-cam. May be in the future I will link one in my description.
I have now. still under construction. But here is the link. patreon.com/GraphicsCardRepairs . Thank you for suggesting this. It will make a difference to me. 😁
half of vid fighting caps )
Yea mate. I don't know what I was thinking while putting those caps back 🤣
@@GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql how i deal with those lil bastards: put a good amount of lms on pads, clean, apply fresh flux, solder. never blow near chips.
I do the same but maybe I was having a bad day. 😂. Normally this would take a few seconds but on this one I guess I took more than a minute. 🤣. After I finished I was thinking what the hell was I doing.
