    I noticed often times you ride a bit shorter boards then would be ideal for your stats based on sizing guides for example wouldn’t a 159 suit you better you still are within the parameters for 155 but the longer one is closer to your weight…is this by choice you prefer to ride shorter or just luck of the draw for the boards you get sent..if by choice can you please elaborate…I’m genuinely curious…thanks!

      I think weight plays a part in how much force is required to do a side cut turn, how much it floats and ease of press.
      When it comes to turns, as long as you are within the weight range then it is possible two people with different biomechanics can experience different
      feelings for the board.
      Foot size being the standout example of this.
      Biomechanics are very individual. And so are subjective preferences.
      Would be interested to hear other opinions on this.

      @sax1607 When you receive demo boards to test they vary in size and are not always available in a size you’d normally ride. So you just make the best of it and work with what you’re given.

    Would you recommend this or the Salomon Highpath for that freestyle, pow, all mountain freeride style?

    Hi Avran,
    (Or if someone can answer) Do you get boards donated for reviews or do you work or know someone at a store?
    Just wondering coz i love seeing your variety of boards reviewed, instead of usual “hyped” boards everyone and their mother has reviewed… sometimes badly.

    hows this compare to the sickstick? seems very similar construction/dimensions but with more side cut and less taper. slightly more freestyle?

      @@AngrySnowboarder Hero is stiffer than the Louif? More of a freeride board? Would really appreciate your thoughts on this as Im about to pull the trigger. Looking for something that could handle most days with ease- trees, groomers, side-hits n a jump or two, plus float. Riding the french alps mainly

      @AngrySnowboarder  3 місяці тому

      Candle Rain isn't for most people and isn't even in the same category as those two. HTH is more backseat than the Louif and freeride than it. Louif is going to have better pow float but not be as nimble in tight trees.

    Yo, my wife got me this for Christmas. I like it. I live in Fernie bc. We get lots of pow…I have two boys, so I end up riding the rail park…we don’t have jumps…lots of side hits, all mtn sending when it’s good….I thought this would be the best free ride freestyle pow board…I do like it but it feels like there’s something missing…you said it wouldn’t be the first thing you reached for….what would you reach for?

      @@AngrySnowboarder so I’ve been debating between these two. I’m from the midwest so mostly do park riding, however I travel a couple times out of the season to colorado and get into deeper snow. Would the assassin be a better fit then? Or would the louif also work well in midwest terrain?

      @@bradohaas1786 You don't need the Louif. Always buy for where you predominately ride and then deal with the short comings when you travel.
