Do you think the wall splat recovery depends on what threw you at the wall? You recovered from a regular combo after splat. Maybe if you get splatted by something that’s supposed to be a spinning knockdown it takes longer.
If you’re gonna have maps where you can fall to your death make it so it’s mainly because of an error on your part or because you are traveling close to the bottom...don’t make a stun last so long that you literally can fall from the top of a map to your death unable to do anything with full health
Longer then that, long enough to fall from the top of the cloud district all the way to your death. When the animation kicks that your charcter recover rolls ( don't know how you can roll like that in the sky ) your already in the red zone.

Honestly if they ever think of making a second game of this they will have to fix nearly every thing in this game, with some jutsu. Your character then kind of twitches and grunts in pain like they’re trying to recover but don’t have the strength or something and so you fall to your death. It’s only happened to me in the Hidden Cloud because of how far you can fall there. I feel like sometimes you just get hit too much and you can’t recover, maybe because of the stacking Globku mentions. Like maybe there’s a limit to the stacks where you just plain cannot recover and the twitch is the game communicating that?

Started doing research on that, but the only way to test some of those is in multiplayer and too many variables make the results unreliable for lots of those buffs. A lack of a practice mode makes a lot of those types of videos really tough

No it is not okay. Let me give you a example if you do a certain amount of hits you or your opponent gets sent flying and they can't recover even if you are at the top of the map you can fall all the way to the bottom and die. Same thing with guard breaks off edges maybe shorten the stun time a bit on guard breaks and make it so that you can recover from combo falls its broken okay. Even I use it because it is so broken lol. I have been playing this game ever since it came out and people are actually becoming good these falls will become more apparent as players get better at combos.

If you want to know how air recovery actually works in this game ill tell you, think of it this way your character has an invisible damage threshhold meter as you fight and take damage it fills once its close to full the next attack on you will send you into an animation where you cant recover, this is why you could be destroying the enemy team only to get hardknocked to your death later in the match by 1 blast bomb, any jutsu, or a demon wind hit to your character. Its that simple guys, is it good system? not really but that's what we got in this game if you want to avoid getting knocked to your death the only advice i can give is to be aware of how much damage you have taken in the match and choose your battles wisely if you know that you took alot of damage too soon go fight somewhere on land away from a pitfall so the hardknock animation doesn't send you to your death and you can reset your damage threshold to fight again safely hope this helps.

Well personally i have a combat combo for the attack type where i go into a air combo i use the airdash just before i do the knock down and it starts the combo over again then i use a paralyze kuni and do a 3rd set it works but it is only usful in 1v1s or 2v1s i have tried it in a 3v1 yesterday but ended up dying 😑
From my experience I’ve been able to aerial recover from almost anything but a wall splat the only way I was able to recover from this is to use my sub so I think the wall splat is a hard hard knockdown state where the spinning knockdown is a delayed knockdown version from the soft knockdown so instead I think what they should do for more balance is increase the amount of all the subs like example the 20-25 sec subs could have three uses an the 30-up could have two that would help out a lot more
air recovery is definitely not fine. air dash alone has nothing to with anything. i got infinite hit stunned from the highest point in the cloud village a dozen times today. that's while i'm standing on the scroll spawn point. no air dash used obviously. i think hit count has something to with it in most cases, although i got infinite hit stunned by tripple kunai hits as well.

No air recovery is not all the time the players fault. I literally could get double teamed with full bar of health and fall straight into a pit and can't even recover or get hit by a demon wind shuriken at to be fair i have been able to recover in the air if i get sent flying but only after taking too much damage. it needs to be fixed or either don't make pit falls count as a death.

You forgot to mention the three kunai's stun drop. After the third kunai youvare stund for 3 seconds, that's long enough to fall off the map

I think this might end up being a mechanic that ties into other Nina tools or Jutsu, not the gravity switch thing but the knockdown stacking

there are battle equipment that lower the likelihood of your opponent from recovering. I think thats why its inconsistent
One thing I've noticed is that if you have an Amatarasu debuff and get knocked back, you can't recover.
