You can jump on the westbound California zephyr in Denver about 8am go to Granby co. eat lunch hang out 3 hours then jump on the eastbound Zepher back to Denver get back that evening ,that's this route and the Moffit tunnel. The big ten curve .we did it in June for less than $100
Well Amtrak sometimes need's to reroute on those lines, and also RTD is "Currently Working" on the NE Line which will take up about half of the FR Sub!
Longmont Railway Are you talking about the new N Line currently under construction through Thornton? Front Range Sub has nothing to do with that line. It was previously owned by UP and was a branch line that only served northern Colorado. It was never a mainline except when it was first built. Heck, I just made a video about that line! If you have 20 minutes, check it out!
0:14 Before 1929, the track turned right there to climb Rollins Pass.
Cool video and neat music. Thanks for posting.
Perfect movie, perfect route, I enjoyed it! Thanks!
Thanks, don't forget to check out the other ones too!

Awesome views! Great video ! I’m subbed
Getting ready to get on the Zephyr now. I guess we know why they call that line the Tunnel District
Awesome Video! Say, do you think you could do the Front Range Subdivision and the
Colorado Joint Line?
Longmont Railway probably not like this since Amtrak doesn't use either of those lines!

I'm talking about the line from Denver to Longmont!
High speed rail ?
I love it when Amtrak gets to pass right by the coal trains!
