It appears that everything is modular, including the battery. The future of battery swapping is bright with AMPLE battery technology ,which has partnered with Stellantis.
I ain’t a fan of them dang ol lectric cars. However, the design of the new Challenger is just sweet.

A very clever concept. The devil is in the details of implementation. If not, it may be a jack of all trades and a master of none. That would unfortunate.
The grid to support electric vehicles is not there and won't be any time soon as electric demand in other needs continues to rise. We already have brownouts and blackout issues that aren't resolved. The 'green electric vehicle' push is purely political to make people with connections rich.
Hydrogen is a far better 'green' alternative and they are just developing that technology now. Hybrid electric could be very effective if they designed it like a locomotive using a small engine/generator to assist in keeping a main battery unit charged while using exclusively electric motors/generators to power the vehicle and also help regenerate battery power.
